International window closes today. So English/British teams (not sure which) can no longer sign players from overseas. The domestic window, which is realistically much more relevant to us and teams at our level, is open for another two weeks I think.I know the transfer window 'slams shut' ( ) for the Prem today.
Is that the same for us or not? And is the loan window for us is open for a little while after that final date, or do they finish on the same day (as they did last year IIRC)?
But it is relevant for us because the clubs higher up, who we might be looking to get loans in from, will probably be finalising their squads and deciding which players are expendable or would benefit from a loan spell at a club lower down the pyramid.

"The window for international registrations closes at 11pm on Monday 5 October, with an agreement in place with the Premier League for an extended two-week domestic only window which will close at 5pm on Friday 16 October. "
