There are some bored leftie pedants on this thread aren't there? ?
I spoke with a developer at work who is based in India about this and they said, if the police aren't that strict and officious, Indians will just ignore the advice and carry on with their lives.I vote we get the lathi`s out............. they might get a better "understanding".

If you feel the need to insult you probably know you've lost the argument. There are some bored leftie pedants on this thread aren't there? ?
I rather like 'leftie pedant', it's better than the alternative, which is what, something like 'fascist airhead'?If you feel the need to insult you probably know you've lost the argument.

yeah.... especially the almost forgotten Headington apostrophe, a similar kind of punctuation as the better known Oxford comma.... of course being a Headington entity, like Headington itself ( atop of Headington hill - hence 'boys from up the hill' tag for HUFC/OUFC incidentally), the Headington apostrophe (of course) sits 'higher' than its better known neighbourApostrophes, apostrophes, apostrophes!

yes, I know ( & edited).... trying to re- reformat grammarly app on me smartphone back to 'UK English' from where its reset its self to default 'US English' yet again. I blame Trump'neighbour'.
My (almost ex) partner said, 'well it is only advice' & 'I know I haven't got it, so it's completely safe for me to come and see you', this, 10 days ago. I calmly suggested that it was probably wise to wait and see how things developed over the next week or so, and was accused of 'over reacting'. I also suggested that considering the asymptomatic pool none of us really knew if we were infected. Reassuringly she stated that she had been taking her 'temperature daily', and 'didn't have a cough. I explained the definition of 'Asymptomatic' and was once again told that I was overreacting.
I asked why it was that the government had not consulted her, instead of being informed by the scientific community, who were also clearly over reacting.
As you can see, I am confused and in need of advice/guidance and instruction. Please help, with your views on how I should manage this situation......
