International News Covid-19 .....

Words mean things, RT Troll. It's sometimes inconvenient to your snide little jibes but there it is.

I vote we get the lathi`s out............. they might get a better "understanding".
I spoke with a developer at work who is based in India about this and they said, if the police aren't that strict and officious, Indians will just ignore the advice and carry on with their lives.

It's in stark contrast to how the UK police people!

If you feel the need to insult you probably know you've lost the argument.

I rather like 'leftie pedant', it's better than the alternative, which is what, something like 'fascist airhead'?

Deuce.

Lets not go down the road of politic`s..................... pedantism most definitely, but I thought the political tosh finished with the Brexit thread. ?

In more Covid news................. the amount of research this is generating is enormous. Both the physical viral stuff but the psychology and impact this will have during and for a long time after.

Apostrophes, apostrophes, apostrophes!
yeah.... especially the almost forgotten Headington apostrophe, a similar kind of punctuation as the better known Oxford comma.... of course being a Headington entity, like Headington itself ( atop of Headington hill - hence 'boys from up the hill' tag for HUFC/OUFC incidentally), the Headington apostrophe (of course) sits 'higher' than its better known neighbour ;)

'neighbour'.

My (almost ex) partner said, 'well it is only advice' & 'I know I haven't got it, so it's completely safe for me to come and see you', this, 10 days ago. I calmly suggested that it was probably wise to wait and see how things developed over the next week or so, and was accused of 'over reacting'. I also suggested that considering the asymptomatic pool none of us really knew if we were infected. Reassuringly she stated that she had been taking her 'temperature daily', and 'didn't have a cough. I explained the definition of 'Asymptomatic' and was once again told that I was overreacting.

I asked why it was that the government had not consulted her, instead of being informed by the scientific community, who were also clearly over reacting.

As you can see, I am confused and in need of advice/guidance and instruction. Please help, with your views on how I should manage this situation......

It sounds like self isolation may last a little longer if you keep that up!!! Mrs Egg told me that if I as much as sneeze then she's moving back to the mother-in-laws! I've been sniffing pepper for the last 2 weeks but still no luck!!! ??

First they came for spellings
Then they came from grammar
Then they came for word definitions

Rather than talk about COVID or whatever, people such as yourself have instead focused on the above for the past few months. To a point, it's charming and endearing, but it's f*cking tiring to read.

If she is not resident in your household then she stays outside of it and social distancing applies.
An individual can carry the virus, have no symptoms and happily spread it.
Enjoy the space. :)
