You should give him a call, Kip...Hes seemed positive every week!

Yates 92 min sub. Forget that one then..
Not having a midweek game will help us focus on getting deals over the line. I suspect Robinson is keeping things to his chest a little more after the usual criticisms. The replay and (probably) tv money will hopefully help push a few deals through.
I didn't say it was close, I said a deal was on the table from last summer. If the players we are looking to bring in are all loans then I guess competing a permanent deal with Taylor would help. However, I think our energies will focus on getting new players in first.I’m sure you said getting Taylor deal over the line was close, is that still the case?
I don't know is the simply answer. However, I would say that Robinson was very reserved by saying signings are not close. A lot of work was done these last few days and could and should be concluded this week. The difficulty is that we are now looking at loans more than permanent deals with many wanting to wait until the summer to tie long term deals up. We all know that things change quickly in the last few days of a window so it's a case of wait and see. I haven't any names to add to the pot yet, but maybe Monday/Tuesday when everyone's back should fill in some blanks.@Scotchegg know if any potential signings were watching at the ground yesterday in the end?
I dont really understand why we’re just looking at loans? Especially when earlier in the window there was talk of shelling out over £500k on Cadden. Everyone knows we’re crying out for a striker and cover at RB. We’ve proved in the past that we can go and sign good players in permanents and now with the FA cup money we must be in a good placeI don't know is the simply answer. I expect that one of the main reasons is that we dont know which Division we will be in.I dont really understand why we’re just looking at loans? We need to get players in who could be comfortable in the Championship.
On the other hand a Championship quality player wont want the risk of playing in L1.
It's not that we are looking at loans, but the permanent targets we had are not being released by their clubs. Money talks so that may change as we get closer to deadline day but we can't force clubs to sell and shouldn't pay over the odds for themI dont really understand why we’re just looking at loans? think KR mentioned something ( in a rad ox interview yesterday , post match?) about having a meeting/ chat as , with the replay v Newcastle, theres a bit more £ coming in, potentially to boost the squad ?It's not that we are looking at loans, but the permanent targets we had are not being released by their clubs.
