It's nice to feel so disappointed with that result. We deserved more than we got, but we didn't get gubbed. This team has some real talent in it, just need more bodies.

sounded ok on the radio. looks like a long season of awful refereeing to come though.
looking forward to next week and my first chance to see the new team

Some referees feel the intimidation of being in a big stadium with a large home crowd. Some are just crap. This referee was both.

Despite that, great away point, even if another day could have been more. No complaints about the pen, was a stupid place to dangle a leg whether he definitely caught the man or not. Was asking the ref to make a decision.

Struggled a bit second half, Fosu went back into pre-season mode but the likes of Gorrin and Dickie did really well and it’s starting the season with a forward step.
