I mentioned we were looking at him a few weeks ago, KR went up to Kilmarnock game at the end of the season to have a look so hopefully we get this one over the line one of the stand out players last season

Just read the article on Findlay - it also references loans players who have returned to there patent clubs. One name stood out Conor McAleny... If he is unwanted at Fleetwood I’d take him in a heartbeat...

Just thinking about the striker who Karl met on the way back from Glasgow. The game finished at 5pm, so with post-match stuff I doubt he would have got away before 6. It's a 3 1/2 hour drive to Manchester/Liverpool from there, and would he have arranged to meet someone after 10pm? Makes me think that player is currently somewhere northwards of Stoke/Nottingham. Not a huge help I know as there are still loads of clubs to choose from.
I wonder how his meeting with the other player went yesterday?

I have it on good authority that he went to a Costa Drive-Thru at some point during the drive, so he’ll have lost ten minutes or so at the point.

Quite frankly I'd take anything they say with a shedload of salt. They haven't a clue on a player's value, just like we don't considering threads on player values (Mark Sykes for example with wildly different values) we've had on here. They don't know how a deal could be structured, sell ons etc and the specifics of Killie's financial/cash position.

Also, they wouldn't have a clue on our level just as we really don't on the Scottish Premier. It is pure speculation based on assumptions that may or may not be accurate.

Not sure the move for Findlay being in the paper is a good thing. Seems to be a common theme with our targets that their agents leak the deal to the paper to try and gain more interest. Let’s hope we see the klaxon soon...

One step at a time bazzer, we have waited long enough for anything to happen striker wise.

We get a striker in, he doesn't have the best of games the first time we see him, for some that means he will always be poor, it took a while for our two best strikers in recent times to be accepted Roofe and Hylton, I hope because we have waited for a while now to get a forward in the building that those frustrations do not get vented on him if he takes a time to settle in.
