No announcements have been made. We can only hope a deal will be done

Players aren't due back to pre season for another week. Plus some players are contracted to their clubs until 30th June.
Some deals all over the country will already of been signed for a few weeks but it is sometimes down to the club they are leaving to hold off the announcement as they don't want their fans to see players leave with no other signings made.
That is why sometimes you get players joining and leaving on the same day.

No - we need to invest in players with resale value. Nurturing talent that is our own asset is key to long term success rather than loans, which should be used to compliment the contracted players.

Yes, but doesn’t have to be in every position and every player. If that’s ur argument then it’s fundamentally flawed.

Even rich clubs at this level like Wigan and sunderland will have loans as it make financial sense and gets u players u otherwise couldnt afford.

Also only signing young sellable talent will see us fail, as has been seen many times u need the experience older heads as well, not only for their ability in things like seeing games out, but also for the said young talent to learn from

Reckon we'll get a permanent striker aswell. However, it'll be Tshimanga and we will then get a higher calibre striker on loan.

If we were to get these on permanent with a 3 or 4 loans I'd be content.

Jack Grimmer- RB released from Coventry, solid right back good competition for Sam Long

Conor Masterson-CB released from Liverpool (Brannagan could help get him here?)

Ahmed Kashi- DM surely done already?

Tarique Fosu- Winger unplayable on his day Robinson gets best out of him

Kabongo Tshimanga- ST risky signing but Robinson knows him and he wouldn't have to relocate.

If we genuinely want Tshimanga I’m not sure what the hold up is. It would appear to be one of the most straightforward transfers you could wish for. As other have said, local, previous with the manager and by far the pick of the clubs rumoured to be interested.

If he’s contracted to City you’d have thought we could buy him out of that just to get the deal done. My guess is he might be well down the list and is the safe option to get a body in if all else fails hence the dragging on.

Reliable info on Friday told me that only Exeter have made an offer for him at the moment.

I see Bradford have signed Adam Henley, from Salt Lake City (MLS) - a decent full back previously with Blackburn. 2 caps for Wales under Coleman and still only 25. I’d have been quite chuffed if we had signed him.

There’s players out there let’s believe in Robbo and hope he has targeted the right ones!! ?

Bradford are chucking money at it this season by all accounts.

Are you suggesting we shouldn’t invest in signings because of one that hasn’t gone to plan?
No, I'm suggesting that we manage our budget appropriately. We've been much better in the market over the last 5 or 6 years, but I still reckon only around a third of our signings have been successful.

There will be players like Whyte and Sykes that we can pick up cheap and develop into saleable assets. There will be others like Mous, Henry and Mackie who will add value to the squad but little in the market. And then there will be the likes of Browne, Kashi, Sinclair who will come in on loan and deliver.

We need to have young, hungry players who have the opportunity to become future stars, older experienced pros to offer leadership and gamesmanship, and loanees to fill in the gaps. It's naive to think that only one approach works.

I’m probably a million miles wide of the mark but I can’t help feeling that we’re buying Jerome Sinclair...

Maybe a season long loan for Sinclair. I would think that we are looking at a nominal fee for Kashi, and then maybe Fosu on a free. All possible in the next week or so.
