I’m no financial expert but if there are any issues with moving money quickly, wouldn’t it be wise to hold a contingency sum in an account in the uk..? Call me old fashioned and all that.

I would counter all of this with, I hope I'm wrong. I hope he's got the money to support the takeover of our club and its ongoing costs and the reason he can't get cash in the bank is because of restrictions by regulators.

Didn't he say though, in one of the 5 minute Radio Ox things that he didn't think it was a good idea for a lump sum to be left in the bank account for operational costs?

Yeah. He did. Unfortunately ?

I agree with you though, the idea sounds right to me - "Here's 100k (or whatever amount it is), it's a director loan from me to the club - if you need to use it, then do so because I'm going to be the other side of the world. I trust you as [managing/financial] director to use it wisely - carry on"

You are saying that a supporters question about two injured players should not have been put in and should not have been selected? Did you ask any question's?

yeah that’s what I’m saying, he gets 5 minutes every 3 weeks to answer fans questions and they ask him about 2 players who won’t feature again this season, I didn’t put any questions forward but if I did I would ask him which player he’s throwing under the bus at 5 o’clock on Saturday.

paypal is arguably one of the safest, most secure ways to transfer money globally?

I purchase rare , original vinyl(& 'styrene) 45s and occasionally 33's, via paypal, from sellers/record dealers across the world.... though not, as yet (so far) from Thailand

It might be getting the money out of his country, I wonder if there are restrictions on how and how much can be moved out.
didn't Northampton have trouble with there Chinese investors due to tighter regulations on moving funds? would make sense I guess but would've thought there was a contingency plan to have money available to pay simple things like hmrc

To be honest, the news from Robinson that Shandon’s ACL injury, although none are good, is as low grade as one could possibly be, was the only heart warming piece of information for me personally, in the whole 5 mins tonight.

It didn’t sound so good for Rob Hall. They’re apparently going to reassess his contract or words to that effect.

But we are talking 100s of thousands, possibly over a million. For that kind of dough I don't think a PayPal.me would just work and there may be significant fees!

His arrogance is unbelievable. He thinks his job is safe even if we get relegated.
With attendances down to 3500 and 1500 season ticket holders.
