HMRC?

Just to clarify on some posts you’ve made about Juan and Stewart. They did not walk away from their bid to Darryl. Due diligence was underway when they received an email from Darryl saying emotionally he couldn’t go through with it and he did not feel it was in the clubs interested to sell. A couple of months later he sold to Tiger despite repeated attempts by Juan and Stewart to try and engage in further discussions all of which got no reply. So he actually sold to a higher bidder and gave no option for further conversations he ended the discussions not Juan or Stewart. Bearing in mind the diasterous position we find ourselves in once again you have to ask how that was in Oxford United’s inferests. Eales has a lot to answer for here.

But I do agree with some of your other posts that we now need to wait to hear from Oxvox who must take a strong stance they were promises in their meeting with Tiger that there won’t be more hmrc problems and less than 10 days later it seems there are.

If they have been lied to directly that surely ends any sense that the board wants to work with them and be open with fans.

We still don’t know what the boards roles and shareholding’s are, what the plan for our club is, what the debt level is and how and when this charge from Eales will be removed.

More to the point the time for keeping members in the dark is over as the club has already got more HMRC issues it’s time to tel members everything the committee knows there’s no off the record when the club keeps having financial issues that threatens it’s very existence. They need to come forward and tell fans everything that’s going on and fans and our trust need to show the ownership that this is not acceptable.
Well the adopted Mackem has spoken.
You got what you had to say out there, but I haven't said anyone has walked away from any deal involving Santori.
How you can be so descriptive of events is surprising, were you part of due diligence?

IF your allegiances are still with this club, can you try and put your efforts into helping to get us out of any mess going forward, instead of raking up stuff that can't be changed.

If I was Tiger I think now would be the time to say goodbye to our MD. Having said that, I don't trust Tiger to be able to bring in a suitable replacement.

How do you know it was an error on MD / FD part? Could quite simply be a case of the club not having the funds at the time they were needed. Perhaps they are working in an almost impossible situation?

I’m just struggling to believe that an experienced Financial Director or Managing Director has been responsible for these issues.

So Radio Oxford have just said that the club are saying they were slightly late in making the HMRC payment, hence the court order being made.

I'm not sure "slight" is in the revenues vocabulary, if true, it was late again after all the assurances.

It all points squarely at having no pot to P**s in. The club are clearly scrabbling around to find the money.

And what really worries me more is exactly where Tiger found the money allegedly needed to "pay"for all the transfers from Branners onward. Has he borrowed? If so from who and on what terms and ultimately how exposed are the club currently.

If it smells off and looks off then it probably is off and you should not be swallowing it.....

The buck stops with Tiger, Niall’s just the puppet with no one pulling the strings.

So it IS true another fine mess. Late payments are always frowned upon!

I wonder what the club's credit rating is!?

Didn't we spend our then record transfer fee to Aberdeen for Windass on tick whilst not having a pot to p*ss in? And then forward most of the money we got from Bradford to Aberdeen? Not too fanciful that this is the way we are headed at present.

Pardon my ignorance here but how often do we have to make these payments to HMRC - is it a monthly thing? It was literally only last month the last court hearing was dropped after payment was eventually received, wasn't it?

Absolutely. An experienced FD, as employed by the club currently, simply does not make this kind of error. However, our MD / FD are not alchemists - they cannot pay tax bills when the cash is not physically in the bank account. That is why all eyes need to focus on the shareholders of the club!

So confirmed then. The guy and his cronies are absolute jokers.

Directors of companies neglecting their tax liabilities like this should have some kind of penalty to damage their reputation, so they cant swan around the Far East as football club owners to their friends whilst dragging the club through the mud.

Tiger OUT!

We really do need the ‘owners’ of our club to be forced out into the open now. No more hiding. In front of the supporters to answer direct questions. It would be great if Oxvox went public with similar demands today.
