Working my way through The Fall back catalogue tonight and I never realised until now that the late Mark E Smith followed the Us....

Yesterday the news about Erick Thohir selling his inter Milan shares was in the news again - next stage maybe?

And now who do you think is the happier with DE decision? there was a great financial mess to unravel but very little if any return at that time, it’s all if buts and maybes but that boat has well and truly sailed and we have to deal with the realities of today.

We do have to deal with today’s realities which is rather painful however we can also look to our past like any good historian and conjecture alternative realities.

To your first question I don’t know who is happier but I know who is sadder. The collective us.

Just to clarify on some posts you’ve made about Juan and Stewart. They did not walk away from their bid to Darryl. Due diligence was underway when they received an email from Darryl saying emotionally he couldn’t go through with it and he did not feel it was in the clubs interested to sell. A couple of months later he sold to Tiger despite repeated attempts by Juan and Stewart to try and engage in further discussions all of which got no reply. So he actually sold to a higher bidder and gave no option for further conversations he ended the discussions not Juan or Stewart. Bearing in mind the diasterous position we find ourselves in once again you have to ask how that was in Oxford United’s inferests. Eales has a lot to answer for here.

But I do agree with some of your other posts that we now need to wait to hear from Oxvox who must take a strong stance they were promises in their meeting with Tiger that there won’t be more hmrc problems and less than 10 days later it seems there are.

If they have been lied to directly that surely ends any sense that the board wants to work with them and be open with fans.

We still don’t know what the boards roles and shareholding’s are, what the plan for our club is, what the debt level is and how and when this charge from Eales will be removed.

More to the point the time for keeping members in the dark is over as the club has already got more HMRC issues it’s time to tel members everything the committee knows there’s no off the record when the club keeps having financial issues that threatens it’s very existence. They need to come forward and tell fans everything that’s going on and fans and our trust need to show the ownership that this is not acceptable.

Sorry but is this a rumour or do we have this confirmed?

I've been googling CR-2019-000281 and there's nothing there which I'd of thought google would've picked up if that article was on Bloomberg. It doesn't pick up on Bloomberg's own search either. There's nothing on the Gazette yet but that wouldn't happen until 7 days after a winding up petition was made.

Not saying it's not true but certainly can't see any other evidence of it as yet.

So Radio Oxford have just said that the club are saying they were slightly late in making the HMRC payment, hence the court order being made.

"Slightly late". Better than "late" and "taking-the-P**s-late" so seems things could be improving!

Given the club's recent poor record in making payments to HMRC I'm not surprised the taxman is taking a very strict approach to any late payments i.e. very little tolerance.

We have an alleged full time MD, WTF does he do?

If I was Tiger I think now would be the time to say goodbye to our MD. Having said that, I don't trust Tiger to be able to bring in a suitable replacement.
