Which is what, exactly? Sam Long’s got more goals and assists than Cadden did, while he was with us. And he’s played half of this season at CB..

Cadden went back to Scotland because he knows it’s a easy standard of football and he will look amazing shame he didn’t want to test himself at a much better level

You seem very definite about that reasoning, anything to confirm it? Assuming he actually has signed for them, maybe he chose Hibs as he'll be nearer family and close friends in times of a pandemic which seems a very reasonable thing to do.

4 games ago most on here thought he was rubbish and wanted him sent back.not consistent enough to play in the championship or even in an off form team.

I'm afraid while your rational for him going to Hibs is far more likely to be correct, it's just not melodramatic enough to be accepted by some on this forum!!

Not sure that's a fair comparision in all honesty.
Taking into account it was Cadds first move to an English club, while SL has been with us since he was a boy. Long's first 21 games for us was nowhere near the level CC performed here during his loan spell.
Long has improved beyond recognition this season but it's taken him over many years and 100 games to get to that level.
However, if Sam keeps up that standard he will get POTY.

No Cadden, no Browne... still, I’d rather have Gavin Whyte over either of those (right wing is our current problem position and where we lack pace) so hopefully we can get him at least! Throw in a decent young CB to develop and that’s a good window...

Think he is opting to move closer to home and try to force his way back into the Scottish squad . Hibs will get more coverage than a League 1 club although longer term probably leaves a doubt for a move to a Championship club.
