XI For Tranmere..

I think Taylor will at least feature on the bench and that Mackie will start upfront. Also, as much as I would love to see Brannagan and Baptiste in the middle together, they would still need Gorrin/Mous to sit behind to provide cover.

It might be sticking with the issues we've already seen this year but would imagine that starting line up will be;

Eastwood
Cadden Dickie Moore Ruffels
Gorrin Brannagan
Henry Woodburn Fosu
Mackie

Subs - Stevens, Long, Mous, Forde, Baptiste, Taylor, Agyei

Eastwood
Cadden Dickie Moore Ruffels
Brannagan Mousinho Gorrin
Baptiste Agyei Fosu

Stevens,Hanson,Sykes,Forde,Mackie,Henry, Woodburn

None of the 3 teams you boys have put up so far have anyone who will cover Cadden when he dons his tam o'shanter and races off into the gloaming wielding his skean dhu and getting lost. Which midfielder / winger can do that - do you detail Gorrin?

This might be better

Eastwood
Long Dickie Moore Ruffels
Mousinho
Brannagan Sykes Baptiste
Fosu / Woodburn / Agyei
Mackie / Taylor / Agyei

Apart from Fosu none of the 5 names I've mentioned up front have given me much hope, but Mackie looks like the only blunt object and that's the onlt reason he's mentioned. I can't help thinking that Woodburn and Fosu need to play off someone, I fear Agyei does which would only leave Taylor as a ball-winner. A good partnership can come from these 5, in fact they should be an embarrassment of riches if only the defence wasn't so weak.

I don't think you can drop Cadden entirely.
Eastwood
Long Dickie Moore Ruffels
Mousinho
Cadden Brannagan Fosu
Woodburn Taylor
Which is a shame for Baptiste, Henry, Gorrin, Agyei, Mackie, Sykes etc but at least we'd have some strength on the bench. We need to stop the rot at the back. A '0' in the goals against column over the next two matches would be a huge improvement, never mind how many we score.

I'm would also like to see cadden being given a chance further forward so for me I would go.

Eastwood

Long
Ruffels
Dickie
Moore

Gorrin
Brannagan

Cadden
Woodburn
Fosu

Mackie or Taylor (if fit)

Yep. The rot has to be stopped and putting Mous in front of the back four worked last season so why not try it again? Moore is still looking very raw so some experience and nous in front of him would help. Playing Woodburn just off Taylor would be worth trying as well. I would say Henry but he looked slow and spent at Fleetwood. He wasn't the only one by any means though!!

So I'm confident that I want:

Eastwood in goal
A back four of Long Dickie Moore Ruffels
Mousinho in front of the back four
Brannagan pulling the strings
Taylor up front.

For the other three attacking spots.....I think we actually have a massive number of options.
Perm any three from Baptiste, Cadden, Fosu, Woodburn, Henry & Agyei and I think they'll do some damage against Tranmere.

The other three go on the bench, alongside Mackie, Forde, Stevens & Gorrin.

Eastwood
Long, Dickie, Moore, Ruffles
Mousinho
Brannagan, Baptiste
Cadden, Mackie, Fosu

Unfortunate for Henry, he is the unlucky one as he been playing well. Mackie in at the moment because I am not convinced Agyei and Taylor are match ready yet and would rather not risk them from the start, but these 3 give us options off the bench.

Why do people put Mous in the team
Remember it was Kashi that stopped the rot last year

I really, really think we missed a trick in signing Kashi at the end of last season.
Can only think it was money that stopped the deal, geezer went on holiday at Tiger's place after all.
And he's in disciplinary trouble at Troyes for not turning up for training, though he claimed he was injured. Hasn't played a game since leaving us.

Maybe his club blocked a potential move to us and he’s now demonstrating his frustration?

We do need to stop conceding so many goals, so Long and Cadden down the right will surely help.
For me, Mous is better than Moore, and faster, sharper, more mobile, and more experienced, so needs to start.
If fit, Taylor must surely be eased in, so needs to start on the bench, and Agyei must surely be fit enough to start by now, as Mackie looks knackered.

With that in mind:
Eastwood
Long Dickie Mous Ruffels
Cadden Brannagan Baptiste
Henry Agyei Fosu

SUBS: Taylor, Mackie, Woodburn, Sykes, Forde, Gorrin, Stevens

But we know Robbo is blatantly gonna play his favoured 4-2-3-1 formation, so with THAT in mind:

Eastwood
Long Dickie Mous Ruffels
Brannagan Gorrin
Cadden Henry Fosu
Agyei
Whatever the lineup is, just get the bloody win, and another on Tuesday, and things will start to look a lot better again.

Whitehead
Robinson, Elliot, Gillghrist, Ford
Gray
Beauchamp, Ford, Allen
Moody

Subs: Gerrard, Powell, McGukin, Windass, Smith, Lewis, Brooks
