It looks possible that it is the end game for Putin however long that takes.
Then the concern as to who will take over.
Russia appear be to be getting closer to China ( and desparate enough to be looking for weapons from North Korea)
Will any new leader be even more aggressive militarily ( scary thought), or be more pragmatic and think of the economy?
Interesting and worrying times ( even more so if the Republicans were to win the US election.....)
