Matches Pre-Match Music

I think this has already been done somewhere else, perhaps in the locked Triangle thread?

A few nice modern songs for the youngsters ...

The Move - Flowers In The Rain
Edison Lighthouse - Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes)

oldies are the best option ( people know em so they're more uplifting) my contender for tun out on the pitch to tune (after yesterday) has to be ....

ive had a rethink with the nuclear nutter in mind ... light the blue touch paper and stand 600yards back ....

The end of this thread. :)

There are people who want to bring me down cause I want to fly the flag
With my head held high I'm fighting back
for the colours of my land
My feelings are so true to the Yellow
and the Blue
It's the colours of my heart and it always beats for you
My heart beats for you
The Yellow and the Blue
There are people full of ignorance
who want to bring me down
They're blind and full of prejudice
and I will fight 'em back
It seems to be a crime
being patriotic these days
But I will always fight for
the Yellow and the Blue

Lyrics, energy, tempo and easy to sing along too!

I would prefer this (if the background of the song is ignored) but it hasn't really got the people/crowd joining in when played already. It would still require a concerted effort by those chanting to help it get established.

It’s a really awful song but for an entry of the gladiators shtick, ‘One Vision’ by Queen does the trick.

Builds the tension nicely. How about it Nathan?

Or bring back Boys are Back in Town,

Nah not for me, too much of a Right Wing narrative to it. I'd rather have something associated with Oxfordshire.

Should use something by local band The Candyskins.
As much as I love the idea, I'm struggling to think of a specific Candyskins track that has 'Intro Music' written all over it. Could definitely be included in the last hour build-up, probably 'Feed It' or 'Wembley'?

Valid point, was just thinking "local" and "more chirpy than Thom Yorkes crew"

There are some upbeat Radiohead tracks of course, but again as much as I love Radiohead I can't think of many that would be walk-out music. For that I'd be looking at either Foals, Kanadia, or Supergrass if we go local.

'Buried' by Kanadia would work maybe...

Mrs Hoover? Reasonably well known too.
