Last season Fleetwood stayed up on 40 points.

That must be a bit of an outlier? Always seems to be a bit more than that, not that I will complain if that happens again.

I think of the target as being one more point than the 4th bottom side.

On that basis fifth bottom, for the last 5 completed seasons excluding the covid curtailed one, has needed 41 47 48 51 51 points.

Last year was very low then, although there has been a bit of a drop off in the two previous seasons to that one.
