National News PC gone mad? Chestfeeding

How many is "many" ? Why would women like me be motivated to live a life where you are subject to prejudice and violence
Quite a lot, actually. Considering the amount of gender realignment procedures have more than tripled in the last 15 years, I have to wonder why that may be? Are more people being pushed towards these kinds of procedures? I have watched many documentaries that involve young children that have gone through this process. They end up regretting it because they feel as though they have been misadvised. Again, this doesn’t apply to you but it does apply to others. It’s definitely worth thinking about. I can cite sources if need be.

I am absolutely not condoning the abuse or issues you have faced. No matter what your personal opinion may be, that is simply not okay.

I am transgender and I am normal

I said you are more than welcome to enjoy life as you choose and should not be victimised because of your choice.
However, society shouldn`t be making policies, procedures and "rules" that impact the majority to appease a tiny minority.
Ergo: If you are a man you are not going to be "chest feeding", if you are woman that is able too you will be breast feeding.... what next? Bottle shaming for those that can`t "chest-feed"?

Could it be that society has moved to a place where it is easier (poor choice of word I know) for people to seek out these treatments with less fear of what will happen?

(I have no knowledge of this BTW, just an observation, and assuming your figures are correct)

There's some pretty dark stuff that went on/is still going on with Tavistock/Mermaids where they encouraged and gaslighted children to go through with irreversible medical procedures against their interests. It seems almost cult like. Does anybody disagree that nobody should have medical intervention until at least 18?

Exactly what I’m referring to.

Does physical surgery fix a genetic or MH issue? It is the brain that chooses, consciously or otherwise, how the individual identifies.

From the NHS website:
"We now believe that gender identity is on a spectrum, with male at one end, female at the other and a "diversity" of gender identities in between. These can include male and female, non-binary or even agender (no gender)."

If a child has ADHD, Autism or a similar spectrum they don`t get offered surgery, they get specialist support and advice.

Something to be said also for the outrageously high suicide rates among trans people. much higher than other groups who might consider themselves to be persecuted.

We aren't allowed to say it's a mental illness, but it certainly isn't a desirable mental trait and I would be really worried for my child's mental well-being if they believed they were trans.

Gender dysphoria isn’t classed as a mental illness but it can certainly lead to a number of other problems which are detrimental to ones mental well-being.

In 2019, the WHO have changed the classification of trans associated health issues from ‘mental and behavioural’ and they did so to remove stigma and liberate the community. Nothing to do with science. Nothing to do with medicine, nor treatment.

I agree. If my child felt they were in such a place that they began to question their gender, I would be very concerned indeed. A healthy child, doesn’t think that way.

So a minority group should not promote ideas that can lead to them having a better and more fulfilling life ?

Society should be accepting of minorities, we are all the human species, but there should not be active promotion that minorities are the norm.
They aren`t, they are minorities.
What next special recognition for "over-weight middle aged football fans" ?

As for WHO trying to take away the stigma of being transgender as you stated, clearly that idea has been lost on some !

I have no problem with supporting those "over-weight middle aged football fans" in any issues they face

When have I stigmatised transgenders? You cannot just re-classify health issues, for the sake of being inclusive. Removing stigma is great, of course. However, don’t you think it’s best to do these things based on medical evidence and research? It hasn’t liberated the community, it has lead to many with genuine mental health problems, missing out on treatment because apparently, its no longer a medical issue..

Nonsense.

They can and they have.

Things change, attitudes change and this is nudging that change along.
That’s understandable but as things inevitably change in society people also need to recognise and be cognisant of the fact that some find those changes are hard to understand and even harder to accept.
Some people just cannot and will not accept that change, so don’t force it upon them and expect them to roll over.

Ultimately those people will be disappointed then.
