As someone who hasn't lived in and around Oxford for a number of years, I occasionally take a look at non-football stories on the Mail website. A sentence in this made me laugh, although I don't wish to diminish the extent of the injury caused;

Surely the reporter was having some fun when he wrote:

"Putting the case in a nutshell, the judge said: “In this case he has attacked his testicles and nearly torn them off.”"

Think I might need to send that to Private Eye.

Tom Seaward is the only decent journalist at the Oxford Mail.

Is the Fail part of Newsquest who seem to trawl FB and other social sh**e for "anything that generates clicks" ?

Almost all local papers are desolate voids of clickbait "advertising"...

Far more important issues to cover.....

Terrible reporting, where is the map with precise locations?

FFS, now my favourite spots will get ruined with newbies
During recent floods, several people were asking on a Kennington facebook page whether Sandford Lane was accessible. I shared this story and suggested that was the reason they wanted to know. One person got quite upset and was insistent that she used Sandford Lane only to cross to the Kings Arms or walk along the river.
