I'm a bit worried that it might be bad news for Tsun Dai.

I think his name was spelled Tsun Dai, but I don't know what a nationwide ban would do for him.
My mate in Singapore, originally from HK. Paid £60 for the jersey when he was a U's!I think his name was spelled Tsun Dai, but I don't know what a nationwide ban would do for him.
Oh ok then was only supposed to confuse for 10 mins or soWhat does this suppose to say bazzer I’ve tried reading it a few time but can’t work out what it means![]()
Nope t**t should have been enough to describe the scouse t**t Barton.I think his name was spelled Tsun Dai, but I don't know what a nationwide ban would do for him.
The Gas new he had form and still employed him, he achieved good results on the pitch but he has a lot of baggage off it, wouldn’t want him here. The Gas should sack the t**t with immediate effect and the FA/EFL should be banned sun die from all football within the U.K.
He took them down! The Gas new he had form and still employed him, he achieved good results on the pitch but he has a lot of baggage off it, wouldn’t want him here.
Exactly!!He took them down!
A bit late now as everyone who needs to have see them m.Exactly!!
Bad news for Barton.
Joey Barton guilty over 'grossly offensive' X posts https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cwykwlkewr7o
But some lefties got upset, where’s your compassion!Forgive me if I'm being ignorant on the subject matter (and I'm in no way trying to defend Barton, who's an evil human being) but I'm not sure I see a crime here.
None of his posts seem to have been threatening or inciting violence, were they? They are gross and insulting - and I'd be fully supportive of a libel suit where the wronged parties could get a big cash payment from him - but it does make me a little uneasy when speech like this is criminalized.

Agreed, the guy is a melt but I have a hard time getting behind a conviction for offending a few celebs on Twitter.Forgive me if I'm being ignorant on the subject matter (and I'm in no way trying to defend Barton, who's an evil human being) but I'm not sure I see a crime here.

I know the word nonce, just not sure how one can be a "bike nonce". Is he saying Jeremy Vine sexually abused underage bicycles?Nonce

Nonce, a slang term chiefly used in Britain for alleged or convicted sex offenders, especially ones involving children.
He tries to come over as intelligent and erudite, then opens his mouth. Accusing people of pedophilia will result in getting what he deserves.
Are you talking about Barton or local councillors? He deserves to be sent down just for claiming "banter" as a defence.

Agreed. It’s quite worrying that this is seen as a crime. What an unpleasant individual he is though. Is there a problem with UK libel laws that stops this kind of thing being dealt with as a civil matter?Forgive me if I'm being ignorant on the subject matter (and I'm in no way trying to defend Barton, who's an evil human being) but I'm not sure I see a crime here.

I agree with all of this, with the one caveat that the Fred and Rose West tweet was hilarious.First of all Barton is a proper grade-A bell-end of the highest order. However, I agree that criminal proceedings for this is over the top. What he said about Vine, Ward and Aluko was completely unacceptable. I know he was already been fined for comments made about Jeremy Vine - has he paid that yet? If not, then that would be a police matter.
Also, if he carries on with his campaign of hate afterwards, then I guess that becomes contempt of court. I'm no legal expert, but there must come a point where if you carry on with malicious communications regardless, then it eventually becomes a criminal matter.
