Fan Engagement Plan

The club can`t control/manoeuvre OxVox.

Unlike OUSP which is a club construct now guided by the Club.

The firmest message the fans could send to the Club would be "You want a FAB then talk to OxVox about the ToR/ make up etc"

As it stands we will end up with a very weak group of folk who tick all the EDI boxes but will be called the FAB and manipulated by the Club.

If OUSP quit en masse they can still volunteer to do the matchday niceties and supporter engagement/relations/issues etc as part of OxVox.

I`m pretty sure OxVox could embrace a few more volunteers in a "Supporter Contact" role.
Just realized, you're Middleton in disguise. Working behind your enemies lines to sow discontent and division.

Given the presence of an OxVox nominee on OUSP perhaps it would be good for OxVox to officially comment on their views on OUSP (they may have before I don't know), but if they thought it was an issue why would they be involved.

OxVox have not really had a membership much more than 1000. Should the club not try and engage with the rest of the fanbase?

OxVox actually have a membership of nearly double that at the moment and growing. More importantly we represent all supporters. Members rightly receive full updates first but everything is posted later on our website for all to see. https://oxvox.org.uk/
We also use social media and radio and sometimes TV to get the message out. Any supporter can contact us and we will respond and act upon that email. enquiries@oxvox.org.uk

The only way to easily increase our reach would be to have the club post on their website or send out to their database. That would seriously undermine our independence and our ability to challenge the club.

Growing our reach has been really important to us and is an ongoing process but we represent every supporter of this football club.

All we can ask of non members who value the role of an independent supporters' trust is to join us via the website. There is a free associate membership but full membership is priced to be inclusive and encourage new members so there is no reason we can't keep growing. Our strength is in our independence but also our numbers.

At such a crucial time in our history it is vital that we have an independent, democratic, challenging and United "voice" .

We don`t need a Club concept that purports to be "independent" whilst relying on the Club for many things.

There is only one option for any supporter https://oxvox.org.uk/join-oxvox/

And a huge vote of thanks to @Paul P and the @OxVox team for growing the membership and engaging with the fan base - the club could learn a lot.

This.

End of debate for anyone wondering.

Chelsea Supporters Trust express concern, Chelsea respond with "With the establishment of the Fan Advisory Board, who liaise with the Club on a regular basis, we are confident that there is a great deal of shared discussion and an intention to work closely with a number of key stakeholders."

Last paragraph: "Mark Meehan, the chair of the CST, criticised Jurasek for failing to respond to concerns raised in the original letter. “We are supporters, not customers,” Meehan said."

Rinse and repeat...
