Did robbo say anything about transfers in his interview? Ifollow rad ox cut out half way through
Watched a different game to me then. Not just the goal, as I appreciate you wrote this at H/T but he was making things happen.Hall absolute waste of time. As always.
I thought he sounded very cagey when asked about transfer news. Hopefully that means signings are imminent. Jerome said afterwards that it sounded like Karl was ‘asking for help’, not sure what he meant by that?Did robbo say anything about transfers in his interview? Ifollow rad ox cut out half way through
Sheff United shut their kop end a few years back when we played them in the cup.I can fully understand limiting the amount of stands open for leasing.com trophy games.... but for proper cup competitions, personally I dont like this 'customer service' meted out by OUFC for what is the oldest ( and supposedly, ha), most respected cup competition in the world.
I didnt like the only limited areas open for the Posh & Millwall games in the league cup earlier this season either!
Also - closing areas of home stands for a cup game, in a proper cup , is disrespectful of both the opposition and their supporters
imagine if we drew the bindippers away in round four (assuming we get past Hartlepool) , and they closed off parts of their stands , because its 'only' Oxford theyre playing? meltdown on that would rage for weeks
Football clubs , Oxford United FC included, are ALL guilty of disrespecting the oldest club cup competition in the world
FSA point out just how contemptuous football clubs have become regarding the FA CUP - especially the 3rd round, when the (so called) elite are included ....
FA must pay more than lip-service to heritage of the Cup - Football Supporters' Association
FA Cup third Round day, once a much-anticipated staple of the English footballing calendar, has been torn apart by the FA’s international TV deal, leaving fixtures spread out across the weekend and causing extra travel problems for fans.thefsa.org.uk
doesnt mean its right to do though ...IMO of courseSheff United shut their kop end a few years back when we played them in the cup.
I never understand why people want 'a big team at home' at this stage of the competition. I would settle for another weaker team in the next round and the one after that. If we go further we'll pretty much be gauranteed a big fish but will have money in the bank and more publicity for the club
Hall did pretty well. He’s become the latest whipping boy who people criticise without thinkingWatched a different game to me then. Not just the goal, as I appreciate you wrote this at H/T but he was making things happen.
I never understand people who think having a 'weaker' team at home guarantees progress and more money. When you get to rounds 4 and above, we tend to be one of the 'weaker teams'Totally agree
