There is a certain irony on her appointment as head of a racism commission, that left wing people on social media were giving Mirza racist abuse about her appointment - Mirza is wrong sort of minority, betraying her background, doesn't understand racism etc. Aka, she's both a Tory and as a person with an Asian background, she's not one of us...

Evidently people like Ash Sarkar think that it's acceptable for them to be casually racist about other minorities and it's not racist because they are a virtuous person (or whatever). It was an utterly fascination insight to some of the more extreme lefts perspectives on racism, and why perhaps the commission won't be enough for them unless they can write it all.

Surely the Vicar of Dib was the polar opposite, the perceived inappropriate vicar (in Dibs case obviously gender rather than race was the issue!) But the job was given... this poor chap had a shitty refusal letter, so fail to see how they are the same?
