Away Match Day Thread +++ 22/04/2019 Shrewsbury v OUFC Match Day Thread +++

Poor keeping from Stevens, beaten at near post from clear distance, and kicking,
Sorry but as Mackie alluded to in a recent interview, you should never change a winning team.

Kashi really is an idiot. No need for that challenge he put in today, no need for him to whack the ball into the crowd after a goal and then go around chopping at people while on a yellow on Friday, no need to run onto the pitch at Walsall... he’s got no brains and is a hot head. Thanks for the contribution, but see you later fella.
Tend to agree, in the first couple of games he was excellent but of late stupid bookings and sending off, also giving the ball away which has led to a couple of penalties.

We need experience in this situation Sarge I think.
the young uns have plenty of experience & determination of winning games coming from a goal down ... hungry , fit and ready to give their all ...get at least one of em on I say, especially if graham is having a(nother) off day

He also led to Browne’s sending off at Walsall by taking a quick free kick 30 seconds before HT when no one was set. Ruffels struggled to control the quick ball and hurried it on to Browne, who struggled to control the ball and stamped in. Watch it back and you’ll see. He just doesn’t think.

no f*****g yellow card for Campbell for that challenge on Long.... what has he got on todays (crap) referee?????????????????

How often do you get the chance to give youngsters game time at L1 level with literally nothing on the line though? Don’t care about the result personally. Would be nice to win but long term, we’ll benefit more from giving the likes of Stevens, Napa and Lopes some game time.

Poor keeping, maybe. Carruthers completely lost the Shrewsbury scorer - Docherty - for that second goal.

Looking at the live game on iFollow, Graham a non-event doesn't look interested.

First yellow against Walsall was never a booking, second was stupid but showed the passion we've been desperate for. Kicking the ball in the stand on Friday was daft but hardly crime of the century, and despite not shirking any further tackles, he wasn't once spoken to by the ref, so in no danger of a second yellow. Today was again a fully committed challenge that often goes unpunished - especially if against us.

So he's far from being an idiot, or a hot head. He is exactly the player we've been missing and like Mackie, he plays on the age of the law at times but disrupts the opposition. He does the ugly things well, and we'll be much stronger with him next year.

Cheap red card and incredibly cheap penalty. Ref has handed this to them so far.

We've also been woeful. Not really one player on the pitch I've been happy with so far this half. Maybe a 6/10 for Whyte and Garbutt.

Kashi was never a straight red, but then again the tackle from Sykes early on in the match probably was!

Jordan Graham is nothing like the player we had before. He was also sounding off in the bar after the game on Friday saying how easily he would have finished off the various breakaways we had. Listen up Jordan - you are a lazy show-off with the wrong attitude so bye bye.

Kashi isn’t the sharpest knife in the block, is he? For as good as he’s been, the question is can we get a player as good as him in the summer who doesn’t have the ridiculous side to his game.

Also doesn’t sound like Graham is doing much, would he really be that much of a loss if we don’t get him back next season?
