You have to remember that we're now in the second half of the season, where we are playing sides we have already played. The reverse fixture. So the managers of those sides have who have already seen how we have played and have had time to consider how to block our attacking play. Very few teams do as well in the second half of the season as they do in the first. Unfortunately their task has been made easier because Robinson has set up the side so there is only one way it can play. It doesn't matter what system he plays (1-1-2, 4-2-3-1, 4-3-3, 4-5-1, or 5-3-2) they all rely on one thing, get the ball to the wings for them to cross. The last 5 or 6 games have all shown the same. The opposition set out to stop the wingers by fair means or foul. hence the drop off in the number of goals scored. It's a tactic I expect from almost every team from now on to the end of the season.
