So I take it sit where you like not what your ticket says.
Can't believe Coventry are 8th and 3pts off the playoffs! When Des was appointed and up to the 27th of November, Coventry were 20th - two places above the relegation zone. They must be some serious form to climb that significantly in such a short space of time especially as there was quite a gulf between the lower teams and the playoffs. This will be a very difficult tie.
Sakamoto will rip us a new one if he plays.
Will we get more ticks for this when we sell out?
I couldn’t believe some people said this was a decent draw at the time. Away from home to a good Championship side is about as bad as it gets. We’ll do well to get anything out of this one.
It's a fun draw though, fairly near and a decent stadium. A crap draw would be Rotherham away, we'd probably lose but would take half as many people.I couldn’t believe some people said this was a decent draw at the time. Rotherham are bottom of the league and have 1 win in their last 6, or 5 points from their last 18! I’d say we’d have a better chance of beating them than Coventry? It's a fun draw though, fairly near and a decent stadium. Maybe, but still an unglamorous and tricky draw. To me, a 'good draw' would include away to Liverpool or Man City, it's not like we're going to win the cup.Rotherham are bottom of the league and have 1 win in their last 6, or 5 points from their last 18! Coventry were 18th at the time the draw was made having one their first game after a torrid run. They were 20th just a week before and looking like relegation candidates. Sadly since then, they've picked up a string of impressive wins putting them in 8th. It's typical and unfortunate for us but should be a great challenge and a test of our credentials.I couldn’t believe some people said this was a decent draw at the time. Oh I beg to differ, Rotherham away in the FA Cup, that was a fantastic away day, loved it...A crap draw would be Rotherham away
I agree, so throw all of those big teams (as well as all of the smaller teams we should be beating) into the ‘good tie’ pile and Coventry away was always a not great draw, that’s all I’m sayingMaybe, but still an unglamorous and tricky draw. To be fair (although I broadly agree) - Coventry didn't look a good Championship side when the draw was made. They were struggling at the time.
They're just unbeaten in seven league games since then, and have rocketed up the table as a result!
They're obviously strong favourites if they play their best team......though precedent would suggest that they won't. Last year they made six changes for the 3rd round of the Cup before losing to Wrexham.
That was a great day. The pub nearby with the sign outside "away fans welcome - no dickheads" was brilliantOh I beg to differ, Rotherham away in the FA Cup, that was a fantastic away day, loved it...
I'd be amazed if he started considering how important he is to them.
