I’d say Hackett, Manny and Yemi have got to be up there.
Chrissy Allen was no slouch either!
More recently Brandon Barker was lightening quick but didn’t have the end product!
I also believe it was Fin Stevens who recently listed GOD as the quickest in the squad which did surprise me.
Agree with that one.Marvin Johnson has to feature too
Allen and Hackett were the fastest I recallI’d say Hackett, Manny and Yemi have got to be up there.

Flash Harrington was definitely fast but I remember him introducing himself to the London Road supporters on occasion.Colin Harrington (one for the maturer supporters ) was a county standard sprinter wasn’t he?
Probably too fast, sometimes the ball couldn't keep up with him.Colin Harrington (one for the maturer supporters ) was a county standard sprinter wasn’t he?
He used to arrive at the LondonRoad end before the ball, and kept running. That slope …..Probably too fast, sometimes the ball couldn't keep up with him.
Another one for the oldies - Jason Seacole was very quick! Played him in some school and club games, so saw it at close quarters.
Oh I absolutely was but he was greased lightning! I think he was the youngest Oxford debutant for years, probably until we kept giving debuts to various players in the Trophy who never actually progressed to the first team. I think he played over 120 games before injury hit.You were just really slow.
Agree with that one.
I may be wrong but wasn’t Potter rapid as well?
Baldock was very quick too.
Edit: George Baldock not Sam
Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky. Born 1821, died 1881.Oh I absolutely was but he was greased lightning! I will throw Mark Rawle in there too.Potter was pretty quick but the real pace-men in the past 20 years or so have to be Josh Murphy, Marcus Browne, Marvin Johnson and Eric Sabin.
In full flow Johnson and Sabin were rapid but Murphy looks lightening quick.
What impresses me about Murphy isn't just his lightning pace, but the way he can keep the ball under such close control even when travelling at pace. Rare indeed to find a winger who combines express pace and immaculate close control.Potter was pretty quick but the real pace-men in the past 20 years or so have to be Josh Murphy, Marcus Browne, Marvin Johnson and Eric Sabin.

With that I have to agree. Very rareWhat impresses me about Murphy isn't just his lightning pace, but the way he can keep the ball under such close control even when travelling at pace. Rare indeed to find a winger who combines express pace and immaculate close control.
I don't remember Paul Simpson being that quick.Paul Simpson ?
Agreed, he was brilliant at finding a yard of space and delivery quality ball, as well a goal almost every three games.I don't remember Paul Simpson being that quick.
More one of those wide men who could put in a fantastic cross just in the right area.
