Yeah - but they didn't see the first 85 minutes of our game on Saturday. I could say exactly the same re us.
Sorry Wallop, somebody posted that further up and I was clumsily trying to make the point that the same sentiments were probably being aired on the Bolton site.

It certainly feels weird at the moment. When we were in the hunt for promotion with Appleton, there was this drive, a buzz about the place. Home and Away games were rocking. For a fan, it was awesome. You could taste promotion and we all knew it.
Even under Knobinson to the play-offs there was a drive.
Right now, there is a vacuum. An empty space where the fun escaped.
It doesn’t feel. I can’t explain why but I look around and very few believe that it’s on, yet it is.

I think we are all waiting for this team to wake the f**k up and seize the initiative.
Will they? Won’t they?
A win tomorrow and who knows? It could be on.

Totally agree it feels like the Atkins promotion push season, that got totally derailed at Orient. Still remember leaving the Kassam after a 1-0 victory and somebody saying I know we are 5 points clear and we won but it feels like a relegation battle.

The difference from under Appleton is that we were newly in league one and on the up after promotion . Robinson them took us into uncharted territory of the play offs but the disappointments of losing the final and then semi final has, I think, left us a bit more scarred as a fan base then we realise .
We seem to not believe at the moment ( after last season and the indifferent form we show now ) I'm not entirely surprised.

Agreed - and that cynicism seems to influence the Radio Oxford commentators

I believe Appleton is one of the pundits for tomorrows game funny enough.

Alongside him, Steve Evans!
