Maybe leysboyβ€˜s right and senior players have decided not to play for the manager with their team in 6th

People need to look beyond Des to the problems at the club.

This mess is down to Tim and Grant. They set Des up to fail early on by not getting sufficient support staff in.

Look at Chris Williams leaving, a massive fan of the club and done a great job for years and even he has got fed up of the chuckle brothers and Adam Benson’s s**t show of a job.

DB has been allowed by the club and those fans who support his appointment to complete his undoing of all of LM’s good work. Going to be well out of the play offs.
Season over, just a DESaster.

It’s the most boring going nowhere shambles of s**t I have watched in all the many years I have watched us. What one would expect of a team that is being managed by a β€˜manager’ with absolutely no relevant experience trying to get some at our expense.

And yet some on here will continue to support DB whatever. Shame on you.

Elliott Moore does do a lot to organise the defence - hopefully back next game.

Whatever you thought of Manning's football (I remember a general vibe that it was a bit stale and boring) it was so clear, organised and drilled. The results spoke for themselves.

Every time I've watched us under Des, it seems so clear that nobody really knows what they're doing... but just as concerning is that nobody knows what anyone else is doing either. There are no patterns, no discernable tactics, and while we have had some good results and some excellent periods of play, we just look so disorganised and undercoached. We're still in 6th, so I don't think it's as doom and gloom as it seems here, but it's still a worrying trend.

Realistically we're not getting rid of Des, and the likelihood is that we'll limp along like this and fizzle out towards the end of the season. But the focus in the summer has to be on getting proper support staff around Des. Skilled, experienced coaches who can support building and drilling a plan into the team. Not to absolve him of the blame for this but it's not all on him - the man needs proper help.

Sack Des ,it's been rubbish for months ,he's clueless they are not playing for him and we are blowing a great chance .

Steve.

There are problems at the top, that is well publicised. But there is absolutely no excuse for that performance. Just call a spade a spade. Des has 20 odd players to coach, motivate and slap in to a competitive state on a Saturday and he’s not doing it. He’s had long enough to be better than that. As heartbreaking as it is that the romance of the Oxford boy storyline is dead, he’s failing.

Look at both their goals - think we outnumbered their attackers 2:1 but there was no plan to deal with the ball. Both goals they just waltzed through us, must have been staggered at the gift we were giving them. Grim.

If Oxford could stop giving the ball away, we would be really dangerous, but there are too many errors.
