certainly for those (self included) over a certain ageCall it what you want but for most Oxford fans, I reckon, it means more than any other individual match apart from Swindon.

Here we go again, it's a big derby and for some of us it's just the same as the other lot!
People moaning about a 12.30 ko, if we go up at some point, games and times are moved constantly.
Exactly, modern footballThere will be a lot more 12.30pm kick offs next season with the new tv deal, a quarter of league one games will be at the time most weekends.
Exactly, modern football
Sorry, I must have mistaken you for someone else harping on about a lack of passion, not a football town etc etc. yeah, must’ve been someone else. What regular criticism?
Thankfully we don't all live in your echo chamber, and some people are capable of an independent thought.
Oh, and f*ck Reading!
That's not criticism, it's a fact.Sorry, I must have mistaken you for someone else harping on about a lack of passion, not a football town etc etc. yeah, must’ve been someone else.
Echo chamber? What are you talking about?
My granddaughter is playing at 10-30 but 2 season ticket holders will be there albeit 15 mins lateYes two of my family who are season ticket holders will be missing this game due to Grandson is playing 11am ko
What’s the obsession with how bad we are as fans? Every second post you post seems to be about it! You state Reading second only the Swindon like is a cast iron fact. I’ve got a season ticket, have for 20 years, and it’s nowhere near second for me. I’ve got a young family so can’t go to every game anyway and have to to prioritise sometimes, I chose the last two Tuesday nights and the kids go to bed and on a Saturday morning I like/should spend time with them so the 12.30 has made it difficult to go. So I won’t (but will count towards what will be a close to sell out anyway). I’m actually more interested in seeing us play teams like Derby (sell out), Reading comes about 20/30th on the list of teams I’d like to see us play. 2nd only to Swindon isn’t a fact, it’s just an opinion.Perhaps the powers need to be re-evaluating the 16,000 stadium.
It would seem that with the new tv deal that will see many changed KO times, kids football, ifollow and the fact we don’t play Swindon or a prem team every week, then the need for a larger stadium will be quashed.
Some of the excuses are incredible.
This is Reading. Second only to Swindon.

I don’t think our fans have been great this season, that’s my opinion. As someone that goes to all games, I’ve seen some pretty desperate atmospheres both at home and away. I also don’t think 6,800 at home to a promotion rival screams of ‘great’ support.
As for Reading, it is our second biggest derby. It always has been.
Should you not wish to read my opinions, feel free to hit mute .
To be fair the kids football is not an incredible excuse. It's a fact. My daughter is 10.00 tomorrow so rushing afterwards to the game. Some KOs are later. I would rather her play football than watch.Perhaps the powers need to be re-evaluating the 16,000 stadium.

Why do I have to hit mute? Can’t i just reply and disagree with what you say? I have an opinion on what you said so want to reply to it not just hit mute. I agree on atmosphere btw, it’s been poor, and I’m as guilty as the next person I’ve not been entertained much by the football so have sat on my hands more than usual. I never said ‘great’ support either just disagreeing that it’s ‘terrible’. I very much doubt many other clubs look at us and think’terrible’, we are bang average. It’s very slightly disappointing we won’t quite sell out for this game but no more than that. So personally can’t understand why it’s such a big deal. But no I won’t be muting you just because I disagree with something you said.I don’t think our fans have been great this season, that’s my opinion. Aren't we on track for our highest average crowds for years?

I knew you’d pick up on that. Posts like ‘embarrassing’ and ‘terrible excuse’ just pointed me in that direction I suppose, plus the need to comment on most attendance threads in a negative way. If you don’t think it’s terrible then I apologise for misquoting you exactlyCan you point me in the direction of where I’ve said our support is terrible?
