Lets get 3 points from Brizzle!

Yes, they ought to. There’s no excuse for the defending we saw yesterday, our first choice defence is fit and started the game. There’s lots of aspects to the debate around Des but the simple question of whether he should be doing better with what he’s got, the answer is absolutely yes. At the very least we should be contesting games closer than we have this week but we lost the tactical battle comprehensively on both occasions. If Northampton had been played, I fear we’d be stood here with 3 straight losses to teams around us and still lacking horribly in forwards heading in to Pompey. This situation was unthinkable and yet, here we are.So the question is would any other manager make us play any better with basically no forward players or options to change from the starting 11?
Sorry let me rephrase that So called and I know that. No, there really isn’t
No Idea, but it just struck me as a weird thing to say. You knuckle down and play the hand you've been given. So the question is would any other manager make us play any better with basically no forward players or options to change from the starting 11?

It’s proving too soon for Des in the conditions here. We’re all at sea as a club and he hasn’t got the experience or support to navigate it, nor should he have been asked to.
I'd say it's quite important info, but why should he disclose who told him.If you can’t disclose it, why say anything.
So that we can decide whether to give it any merit.I'd say it's quite important info, but why should he disclose who told him.
I’m heading there expecting to win. 2-1 to Oxford.
He’s forced to go 5 at the back because we have no pace in attack . This isn’t how he wants to playI get that coaches want to put their own stamp on the game, but why have we changed tactics so drastically?? I'd have thought Des would have watched all of our tapes from the start of the season and tried something which complemented the winning formula. He can do something else next year if he has something else in mind. The problem is it's hard to see what he's actually trying to achieve at the moment.
That match was one of the most "league one" performances I've seen from two sides in a long time.
Then you break confidence, why should he do that. If he’s informing but doesn’t want break a players confidence or staff member then that’s fair enough in my view.So that we can decide whether to give it any merit.
Can’t give it importance if it can’t be substantiated
If you know something then say it, otherwise it’s bull.I can’t disclose such information.
What I will say is I was bang on the money last time, when I said it months in advance of KR sacking. Before CamBran finally told you all in an after game interview with Nathan.
I’m bang on the money again. Sorry you don’t like it, but that’s how it is I’m afraid.
I will wait for the apologies when it comes out.

No real point in saying it though, because even if it's true, nobody is going to believe it without evidence. Then you break confidence, why should he do that. If he’s informing but doesn’t want break a players confidence or staff member then that’s fair enough in my view.
When anyone mentions something on here, just because they don’t say who told them doesn’t mean it’s not true though. I can believe it hearing some of the players reactions yesterday to the fans & also some of the body language of the players & what I perceive to be lack of respect towards the coach. The players let him walk off on his own yesterday. Actions speak louder than words sometimes. No real point in saying it though, because even if it's true, nobody is going to believe it without evidence.
Karl Robinson is a very good and experienced manager. His rapport with players and the way he comes across is mostly excellent. The thing that let him down was the BS with promised transfer activity he would spout about and when things wouldn’t come to fruition, the fans would feel understandably let down. This happened in way too many windows. Also his off-field issues clearly impacted him last year and badly affected us as a club so it had to be curtains.KR with 8 points from 4 games at Salford. This from a side that was seriously struggling!
KR continuously spouted a load of old guff, was unjustifiably arrogant, was unwilling or unable to learn from his mistakes, and consistently hung players he didn't like out to dry.Karl Robinson is a very good and experienced manager. Irrespective of missing out on promotion and the frustrations, he was clearly a loyal and credible manager at this level. So far Des really hasn’t made a mark on the pitch or with the fans and I fear it could turn into a Darren Patterson-style disaster. He looks like a lost sheep at times and doesn’t ooze authority. KR may have been mouthy and erratic especially early on but he certainly knew how to motivate and get the gameplan going.
I’d never take KR back and he deserved to go but he’s the sort of manager you need at this level in this era.
Robinson came over as a t**t but until last season he made us into a pretty good team. Des has a way to go to reach his level, and we’re of course looking for someone to surpass it.KR continuously spouted a load of old guff, was unjustifiably arrogant, was unwilling or unable to learn from his mistakes, and consistently hung players he didn't like out to dry.
Add the above to the fact he's actually achieved close to sweet fa during his managerial career, I'd say he's actually the sort of manager you neither need nor want to need at this level.

Did we fire that much at him?
