Nile Ranger

The main talking point from McMahon’s interview is that he drives back to Bishop Auckland after every game, now that’s commitment
Nothing wrong with that. It's where his family lives. It doesn't mean he stays there all week. I assume he returns on Monday and stays locally during the week for training etc. If not, then it's a worry.

Just looked him up, it’s his home town and near to Middlesbrough, where he spent several years. He’s not a kid and he needs a base for his family. Bit of a hard life for him and for his wife though

I thought his comments about the baby explained his dropping from the side when Norman came in. Think Robbo gave him a few weeks away from the side for the new bairn. Which is nice. Definitely improved since returning to the first team too. Will never have Normans pace or physicality...but a far smarter footballer with great delivery.

Was just saying how Commendable that was of McMahon that’s all no need to make an issue out of it Arthur

I get the feeling Nile Ranger will sign. Slowly dropping the idea into the press, getting McMahon to be positive about him, and I bet he will almost play for next to nothing as he tries to get another chance.

I’d still not sign him, bad egg in the group and all...

If people don't like Obika's first touch, they'll love Bolt's. Said no one .:D

Regardless of whether you think the leopard could change his spots, the signing of Mr Ranger is obviously going to be divisive and even if that division is restricted to the fanbase, that's enough for me to think it should go no further.

My humble apologies, Bazzer. It was you that said it was the main talking point from the McMahon interview. You, of course, have never made an issue out of anything.

Can someone start a poll as to whether we should sign him or not. It would give a feel for the feeling on the matter.

I think the poll will overwhelmingly result in a no we don’t want him here which is understandable, however I can’t remember much fuss of Mcormick whennhe came here although I did receive a 25% ban for my comments.
