I've only started listening to Oxford United podcasts recently, and have really enjoyed The Dub, The Fence End, and T'Manor. Regret not having started sooner and can't recommend them enough to anyone who hasn't tried them - even if you're not usually a podcast fan like myself

Lots of talk of Ed thinking that it would take three transfer windows to clear up the mess of the previous 18 months.

Ed took some of the blame for that in the interview, which is noble of him, given a rather bigger factor at play.

Liked the way he talked about sticking to the process. The were looking at some players abroad, but couldn't establish all if the detail they needed, including assessment of the players attitude/personality. So they moved on. Like that.

Was also good to know that they still see the foreign market as an area that they need to work on. Youd think that would be a necessity to remain competitive if we were promoted to the Championship.

Talking about last week's The Dub being about contracts and how they are done, he added "This week we’re going to have a bit more news on one player in particular. That's all I'm going to say for now". Was he perhaps hinting that there might be a contract announcement impending - possibly even on this week's The Dub? MMaybe I'm reading too MMuch into it...

Maybe it was a different segment of WATG yesterday but I’m sure Jerome said specifically that there would be some ‘contract news’ on this weeks The Dub. I’m not sure why but, for some reason, I had it in my head that he was referring to Manning..? I think it was straight after Mannings post match interview so I probably got the wrong end of the stick completely!
