A word of caution. Newport are in the play-off places in league 2 and have won all their home matches. We are in the relegation zone without a result away from home. Not so much over-confidence please! An uninspiring 1-0 win would be fine thanks. The eternal pessimist.

Apparantly so ...all fit for Saturday though? ......IF it was the Shaun Harvey abominable trophy it would make sense to rest 'injured ' players, this is the league cup (the only proper cup competition we've won) with the chance of getting a big tie or three should we progress....hence my cynical view after kr dismissed the then forthcoming league cup first round as an irrelevant cup, just me being suspicious when things don't add up as they should....there again maths was never my best subject

I am.not sure that listening to KR minutes after the end if a game is a good idea!
He us far from alone in saying things he hardly means just after a game
In reality he did take the LC first round seriously even with the changes and we saw how good Browne Whyte and Norman can be.
He will hopefully play a strong team but I have no problem he resting players with small knocks.
