Surprised we aren’t sticking to the model by looking for younger right back / left back from lower down the pyramid or bottom half of league one.
We are in the bottom half ourselves atm....thought we took on academy/youngsters from Prem/Champ/Irish clubs to improve on contract or loans. Rob Atkinson excepted. Open yo be proved wrong.

I've been out all day with the family so wonderful to come home to find that not only have we got an important away win, but also that my views are suddenly a bit more middle of the road thanks to our new poster!!!

Good day all round!!!

Vokins and Anderson? 🤞
Not sure Anderson is the right option given his playing record and unlikely to be fit I’d have thought. Too much risk for me.

If we do sign him hope I’m wrong about him, but doesn’t sit well with me.

Don’t mean to be negative as we’ve had a great win today, but we need to get in the right players for the right reasons in the next few days. A player with only 100 or so appearances in 8-10 years as a pro is not for me.

Hope we might reconsider that one?

Been noticing that Sheffield Weds RWB/RB Jack Hunt is not getting game time.

He’s an experienced, powerful attacking player. Just what we need.

This kind of content should not be allowed on here.

Football has been my way of getting away from very serious issues in my life in the past for 90 minutes a week.

I'm fine now generally but have been through dark times in the past that have affected others around me.

You have to think before you post memes like those on this forum. I know it's meant to be a joke but it's not funny in my opinion.

With Joey and others being lost in recent times, it's important to think about the things you post on here. I was very close to where Joey ended up but changed my mind and am really glad that I did. However, just imagine if a forum member is in a dark place and sees something like that.

Somebody else said that 99% of posts on here are as dark as this one. They are not and IMO I think the mods should remove such content.

Sorry to rant.
The original post was removed by the author, I have just gone back and remove it from other posts which quoted it.

But there is one negative for you.
You need to get to work.
I’m not sure we need to currently, as it seems Golding, is coming through quicker than I expected, and will get even better with more and more match time. It’s nice to see homegrown talent make a breakthrough. Of course we could dip back into the Irish waters in January and pluck another one for the future.

It’s just great to see Golding,Goodrham, and O’Donker get minutes on the pitch. Play them in the Pizza cup, and Fa cup, and slowly blood them in to Lge games.
Get him a ticket for the positive bus!

Don’t like the idea of signing wing backs at all. Prefer the idea of signing full backs who can get forward well.

When Browne, Murphy, Wildshut (sp) are back, we will not be playing 3-5-2.

And for god sake KR, stop saying LB cover. We have LB cover. We need a first choice, top class LB.

Apparently Robinson said in his interview that we are, as a club still punching above our weight and are lucky to be competing with the likes of Charlton etc, if that is the case then he should be called out for this,
what a s**t comment to make
Suould be sacked for such comments. Guess we should be counting our lucky stars we drew with morecambe and beat the mighty cheltenham.

Get sacked??

Come on, if there's one thing everyone of us can agree on, it's that you take what Karl says with a huge pinch of salt.

He down plays things that don't always need playing down, he bigs things up beyond any reasonable thinking at times. But sack him?

I would sack him for his predictable wardrobe before I sacked him for spouting off like a twonk. I can’t make out what type of Adidas shoe he’s wearing most of the time these days - I don’t think it’s a Superstar because I can’t make out any sort of shell toe, although maybe I’m too far away to make it out clearly - but it’s becoming predictable and far too easy for other managers to counter. If Tisdale were still in a job he would be in big, big trouble.

What he wants is a simple yet effective selection of trainers, even a mere three pairs can work, which can be used to mix and match while complimenting almost any colour palette. That’s pretty much all he needs to raise his game.

And a couple of full backs, obviously.
