Chairman Takeover now Old Car Chat

There was me thinking the end of the season was going to be interesting on the pitch and then a rumoured take over appears so maybe whatever happens on the pitch now it’s going to be interesting what is happening off the pitch aswel exciting times to be an Oxford fan

WARNING!
DO NOT do what I did and look up Audi Fields on You Tube, the ground Erick n Co built for DC United. Way too exciting and have now set myself up for a big fall.
It's even got useable and hygienic toilets!

This has nothing to do with buying the Kassam as I have pointed out on numerous occasions and soon people will likely see that. Many people (not cited in the post above) have carried out a lot of hard work for an alternative and much shinier solution, watch this space.

Completely right!

The ownership of the club changes nothing. Erick, Horst and Anindya have been working with Tiger for the last couple of years to make the stadium situation a reality. These are serious players and have both the finances and expertise to see this through.

Hundreds of posters have demanded proof that something is happening and a very small handful have only ever been able to offer a hopeful "watch this space". But that will soon become a reality and then I think a few will understand why I have been so supportive of the board in the past when their plans are revealed.

And credit too for Tiger who has been more than just a comical figurehead in a bow tie. He (and Niall McWilliams) have been fundamental in getting the club to this position. The club are in an incredibly strong position and very many people deserve a much better deal than they sometimes get on here.

I think to be fair, that there have only been a handful on here 'demanding proof' and not hundreds.
Most of us have listened and tried to work out what is happening without any knowledge at all.

Kidlington would be perfect lots of pubs near ground. Not far from A34, and train station.
The roundabouts with trafficlights top end of Woodstock, n Banbury roads on the ring road &a40,also near yarton and under the a34 get gridlocked at times already , with up to 15 min delays,on matchdays delays would be longer....unless there was matchday traffic control on all 4 of them......as it stands point duty seems to have been consigned to history.....that said, roundabouts with traffic lights apart a stadium in the Kidlington footprint area could be a good call

Thursday - Government announce scraping of the Oxford-Cambridge expressway bringing land on the proposed corridors back to the market.

Friday - Takeover story breaks in UK with rumours that stadium relocation deal must now be near.

Coincidence?
