Who?Leon Clarke....signs for Shrewsbury.
The immature posters are coming out of the closet.Who?
Out of contract and out of the closet? The immature posters are coming out of the closet.
Coming from the one who can’t just scroll past without making a judgemental comment? The immature posters are coming out of the closet.
Yeah, in an ideal world, before the window closes, I'd make way in the squad for 1 quality CB, 1 quality LB to really push Ruffs. 1 quality RB, 1 speedy wide player, capable of playing on both wings, 1 quality creative midfielder, and another striker, and all 25-30 years old, and good solid pros at this level!
God if you can’t be silly on a minor football forum where can you be?The immature posters are coming out of the closet.
Wishful thinking is one think, but total ignorance is something else!
How much would these players cost in terms of both transfer fees and wages? How does that fit into wage restrictions and our hope of ever becoming a sustainable club without 10's £m of debt? Where do these 6 players fit in to a squad already close to maximum numbers? Who are we dropping to fit these good solid pros into the team?
These stupid and unrealistic expectations of our transfer activities fuel unjustified criticism of what is a very good recruitment team.
To be honest I personally dont think Taylor is doing much wrong. He’s worked his nuts off in the last two games and, in the Sunderland game especially, was dealing with balls pumped up to him from all over the place. Thats not his game. For him to be effective he needs players around him creating openings and putting good balls into the box for him to get on the end of. He’s just not a workhorse ‘no. 9’ whos going to wrestle with big centrebacks for 90 minutes. If I remember correctly, he had one decent ball into the box against Sunderland which he headed back across goal, unlucky not to score himself or set somebody else up.We need a creator of chances and a taker of chances, hopefully Winnall, because Taylor looks out of sorts. What’s that now, seven or eight games without a goal carried over from last season and the play offs ? This is the precise reason Winnall was signed because you can’t have your number 9 hitting these barren patches that Taylor has. Likewise Winnall, once he’s up to speed I’d like to think that whoever’s got the shirt can’t go more than three games without a goal before being dropped.

Spot on. My only criticism of Taylor in the last few games is that he lets frustration get the better of him sometimes and tries to do too much. Ends up deep or out on the wings trying to force the game or compensate for others. It's important our best, most experienced players stick to our game even when things aren't quite clicking. To be honest I personally dont think Taylor is doing much wrong. Yep. His frustrated body language concerned me a bit last week. He was starting to look really pissed off with the world..Spot on. Not surprising when he was likely given the Eastwood signing targets talk when he signed, and ends up having to feed off more scraps than Park End Street at 10PM.Yep. His frustrated body language concerned me a bit last week. He was starting to look really pissed off with the world..
Surely he was feeding off LESS scraps? Not surprising when he was likely given the Eastwood signing targets talk when he signed, and ends up having to feed off more scraps than Park End Street at 10PM.

Well if you dragged yourself away from batting your eyelashes at yourself in the mirror for a second Scotchers, you'd see that I proceeded my comment with the words "In an ideal world"Wishful thinking is one think, but total ignorance is something else!
