Transfer News Transfer window 2020/21

Possibly the most important signing of the summer! I was confident that Cam would sign, but a further 2 years shows a real sign of intent by the club. Where many clubs are looking at short term deals, we have Taylor, Cam, Cooper and Clare all here for the next 3 years. Good work!!
 
So far so very, very good. The irritation of losing to Wycombe being eased a little more with each signing.

I see Ethan Robson who we were after has gone to Blackpool I assumed that was him, trust the club highly these days so will have to wait and see!

Maybe selling Dickie wouldn't be a bad thing. 3 million is a big chunk of cash to help us survive this year with all the uncertainty. Plus Dickie would be easier to replace than if Brannagan would have left. Of course he is a great player but so was Nelson, Dunkley. I trust Karl to have someone lined up already if and when Dickie is sold.

Now Brannagan has signed a new deal, Karl can concentrate on another striker, trying to get Browne on a permanent or a season long loan. Another experienced GK to give Eastwood a kick up the a**e. A CM that will do all the dirty work like Gorrin.

Once this is all in place we can storm the league, take the 6 points of the swine, finally beat Sunderland and have the tittle wrapped up in April. Then on open top bus parade the driver can get lost and accidently go up the a420 to rub salt in the wounds of them 6 fingered cants ??

I doubt we'll be signing an experienced keeper as competition considering the salary cap.

correct, and only on contracts signed before the cap was agreed on.

So if Dickie signed a new contract, it would have to fit within the salary cap... not sure what happens with extensions of current contracts.
Interesting that the cap includes all bonuses, expenses, agent fees etc.

That's what I'd suggest.

Remember U21s don't count towards squad size. I didn't check if that's the same for the wage cap. Might be lot of PL younger players in higher demand for loans, as opposed to the Todd Kanes and Luke Garbutts of the last few years

Sorry I mean the players that have been signed by clubs before today’s date who will be on more than the average, sat a player is on 5k a week next season will that go to the average 1.7k a week
