Everton Under-23 Coach David Unsworth wanted by the Oxford United.

I rather have someone like Tisdale who has proven league experience of developing youth he looked to be a serious candidate and wanted to come here before IL went and chose waddock.

Although ironically Waddock was a manager with decent experience so never a guarantee of success.

Cravat sales in the club shop would go crazy at least with Tisdale.

To be fair to Waddock he came in during train wreck time. I’m pretty sure under better circumstances and with more support from the club he could have been a good manager for us

He may have chosen Waddock but I don't think Waddock was his first choice.

I think Unsworth is the perfect fit for us. He might not have done great with Evertons first team earlier in the season but nor has Koeman and Allardyce is now struggling big time, they are a poor team.

Didn’t Daryl Clarke turn down Leeds? I’m sure he would like to go higher to the championship. He should certainly be mananaging Luton against us next season.
Paul Tisdale may well be at Exeter into the 2020’s.
I’m hoping David Unsworth will be new Oxford manager tomorrow

I’m not holding my breath on anything happening this week. A win on Saturday strengthens Faz’s position, a defeat might speed the process of finding someone else up a bit

Eales’ briefest of briefings today would suggest that will be the case.

Why's that? Is he leaving Bristol Rovers to go to Luton?

Tisdale would be a good choice but it would take a crowbar to prise him out of there now. He’s pretty much running the show from top to bottom. He went through a spell when he wasn’t very popular about the same time as Waddock was brought in. I’m not sure how the Exeter fans perceive him now but I’d be surprised if his stock hasn’t risen again over the last couple of years

I think most Exeter fans now fully realise the constraints they are under as a small fan owned club. He got them promoted probably beyond their financial muscle at the time and then lost some important players. They play decent footy and at some point this year will have two new stands at not crippling cost.

Not sure if anyone had seen this so putting it up for discussion:
Barton obviously not a fan - though an odd rant from someone who is prone to talking a lot of nonsense, being such a personal attack it may be grounded on inside knowledge though.

Coming from Barton I'd take this as a ringing endorsement.
