Away Match Day Thread +++ Fleetwood Town v OUFC Match Day Thread +++

Trouble as usual is our pivotal players are either not game fit or injured

I don’t want to be negative but it’s the same s**t as the beginning of last season yea we’re 1 point better off but we look abit lost as a team at the moment it’s just abit crap pissed off tonight

What do we expect with Hanson in the middle!
He’s done pretty much nothing for us in the 12 months he’s been here.

Tonight feels like a watershed for United - we aren’t good enough its plain to see
and will struggle as we ship goals, easy goals week in, week out.

This is becoming very predictable. We don't defend and are easily out thought by the opposition. Tactics have to change and be changed again to outwit sides. No point KR telling us how good we are because we are not. We are losing games.

And just to think 5/6 years more of struggling. 1 place above the relegation zone so we will have to wait until Mach to show improvement.

I fear! I very much fear! 20th place and only three point of the relegation zone.
A defence that cannot defend.
An attack that cannot score.
Robinson's sad clinging to 4-2-3-1 when he doesn't have the players to make it work.
Unless there is a massive change and a minor miracle this is going to be another long hard season.
I just hope we manage to stay up again.

I think I need to readjust a mindset I got into when we had Appleton. We aren't special, we aren't a Championship 'sleeper' side. We don't flex on teams.

Our existence is based on staying the right side of League 2. And in that respect we're doing an average job.

Deserved to lose today. Team lacked cohesion. Nowhere near our best eleven out on the pitch. Hopefully once we get players fit we will start winning.

Bazzer, you go from one end of the spectrum to the other. Only a few weeks ago I think you said we’d get promotion!

I’m not sure where we’ll end up this season, but st the moment it’s not looking any better than last season. Need to stop the rot in the league sharpish.

Hanson was poor in midfield last season - Robinson ended up moving him to right back and claiming he was the second coming back there. This season he's back in midfield again! Mous was very poor in defence so we moved him to midfield, and guess where we started Mous this season? It's muddled thinking. Still no proper striker on the pitch, still no pace and a defence that can't defend - given no protection by the midfield. At the moment it looks like it's going to be a long season...
