One final point, I appreciate that my posts are getting longer and longer and a little preachy so I'll give it a rest for a while!!! I'm off to polish the new fleet of positive buses for the season until the next wave of Klaxons!!!
Do we have a sell-on clause in the whyte deal?

good that from looking like it was a terminal basket case, the positive bus has not only been refurbished but is going to be part of a fleet too.... presume the positive bus fleets maiden voyage is going to be to the Stadium of Light? ;)

This window is turning into a positive one, time to get all the players in and try and turn them into a competitive team, we might be lucky and hit the ground running and hopefully don’t have the poor start that had to redressed in the January window, let’s hope we turn the good news on paper onto the pitch.

I don't find your review very balanced tbh.

how is it not balanced?

i've said that even those itk will not be right always and used my own dealings within horse racing as an example

i've said fans were correct to have concerns 3 days prior to the season starting

i've said the signings appear decent one's but believe they were not top targets

i've said there's no real need or point to the i told you so and having digs at fellow fans

i've said we all want the best for our club

i've said Gavin Whyte was sold for peanuts relative to the current market because the club valued him at 4m and stated he would not be sold..Robbo said he went for north of 2 million so between 2m-2.1/2 with add ons that may reach 3 is still south of 4m....Yes we made a nice profit but it could and should have been more.

i've also said all window that signing players is not easy nowadays and Agents and players have all the power.

my views are not about a right or wrong they are my opinion and nothing more.

rather than keep comparing to last season (understandably) and worrying it will start the same and have to play catch-up, what if things click and we have a good opening half dozen games or so. just saying

Steady now - we wouldn't have anything to moan about.

Only because its always the half empty opinion as apposed to the half full one. You are correct its only your opinion and it is neither is right or wrong. Each to their own I guess. Blind pessimism V blind optimism.
