That’s a great signing for them. I know the way he left us and ended up at Blackburn a day later annoyed a lot of us, (let’s be honest we were garbish that season and Blackburn were chasing the title - would we all of done the same?) but we shouldn’t forget he was arguably our best player that season up until he left. Would he fit into our current system or team not so sure but had we signed him I would have been happy enough...

Laurence Shankland from Ayr gone to Dundee utd after turning down a couple of English clubs , Think we were linked with him but don't know how true any of it was. We seem to be the Scottish players favourite linked to club !

Reported to be a Sunderland target, which I guess means he was on our radar!
 
MLS season starts in March 2020. So would only be a loan until January I would imagine. Can't see us agreeing to that.

Nowt wrong with the name when compared to many other US sports teams. Also, they are one of the original MLS clubs and the 1st to have a football specific stadium.

Also, they were going to be called Columbus Eclipse originally so Crew is an improvement!
 
surely that should be the other way around where we loan him to them :) what a state the game is in when we have to borrow players from the U.s.a.
i think people need to digest this kind of information and it's implications before moaning about our manager or lack of signings.

Tbf to him, he has been at the same club since a kid so wants to make sure he makes the right move. I'm not sure you can accuse him of looking to move on as soon as there is a sniff of interest considering the above and we showed interest the other year and he didn't agitate for a move.

Surely he’d only be half committed for half a season - is that what we want?!
