Away Match Day Thread +++ 16/12/2017 Rochdale v OUFC match day thread +++

Conditions aside, I thought we were poor, especially 2nd half, lots of stray passes and very poor in possession. We hardly threatened in attack today, i think their keeper made one easy save. Need to shoot more. Eastwood was our MOM by a stretch. Says it all. A very lucky point.

our own superhero today ...ratman ;)

I'm surprised at some of the negative comments flying around. A POInt at a place like Rochdale in those conditions can never be sniffed at. Especially pleased for Xemi, a young lad from sunny Barcelona rolling his sleeves up and getting stuck in in the frozen north. I applaud you sir!

Horrible game to watch. Neither side had the quality to run with it and turn it into something other than a 0-0.

What disappointed me most was our negative attitude. We’re a few points off the playoffs and we’re happy to idle down the time against Rochdale?! Poor stuff.

Also, Xemi’s set pieces were atrocious, the tactic of getting everyone back for corners and free kicks is self-defeating, Tiandalli is heavy set and slow, Henry had a bad game and Thomas just looked fed up by the end.

Ruffels tried, Eastwood excellent, ref gave us plenty and our two centre backs won plenty in the air.

I'm happy with a point and 2nd clean sheet in a row as it sounded like a tricky pitch to play on.

This worries me, he has looked very hacked off more than a few times and this has led to some discipline issues on the pitch. Why we don't try playing two up front is beyond me. He can turn it on but needs someone to create space for him to play into and not just fight off the attentions of defenders for 60/90 minutes.

Im quite pleased with a point. We wasn’t at our best today, And think it’s fair to say Rochdale were the better team by the sounds of it. So I think it’s a point earned rather than two dropped. Also a point closer to the 50 mark.

A decent point then?

Been on the P**s with workmates in London so not followed things as I normally would!
