A win at Sincil Bank would see us on 32 points from the first block of 15 league games - a third of the season and 2.13 PPG.

Lincoln strikers Ben House and Tyler Walker are still sidelined and Reeco Hackett-Fairchild has a hamstring injury.

Central defender Adam Jackson sustained a knock at Exeter but is expected to play

Caretaker Boss Tom Shaw talks about the injuries

West Midlands based Scott Tallis is the man in the middle at Sincil Bank taking charge of his first U’s fixture.

Tallis was promoted to the EFL this summer and in his first eleven matches this season he has issued 40 yellow cards and two reds.

This will be his fifth game at League One level.

And there was me hoping for that Stockbridge bloke….

After my 5-0 prediction against Wycombe I'm keeping my mouth shut

Haven't done any score predictions recently and our results have suffered for it so I'll go with a solid 1-2 away win for the Yellows.

I've been pretty pessimistic in the build up to the last two games, because I believe that Brannagan is so key to his team mates. It's no surprise to me that McGuane has dropped off a bit in his absence, as has RR. CB should start tomorrow and I think we'll come away with the points from a 1-2 victory.

Really need a win to get the wheels back on. I'm starting to think we've been sussed and have no plan B... please prove me wrong, lads. Pleaase!

Would like to see us move to a 3-4-1-2.

Negru Moore Brown

(Mills/Stevens) Brannagan. McGuane Leigh

Ruben

Bodin Harris

That's our strongest lineup and would take some pressure off Harris with a front 2. Bodin has proved that he is capable of playing well up top. Leigh can drop back if needed to make it a 4.

Negru needs to come back in, no idea why he was dropped when playing well. We're shipping lots of cheap goals and that needs to stop.

McEachran and Long need to come out of the starting squad for now. Neither have shown they are capable of keeping up with Manning's style of play in recent games, and have consistently slowed the attack down when there are forward options available, even when we're chasing the game.

That was a superb performance. One of the best away performances I have seen from.us.

It was also one of those days where literally everything we kicked found the corners. Even Jamie Mackie scored a beauty

I think my favourite part are the reactions of the Lincoln keeper - you can almost pinpoint the moment where he loses the will to fight. Throws a total and utter wobbly at his defense for each of the first four goals, but by the time Fosu plonks one into the top corner from 30 yards for the fifth, he's given up and just stands their despondently......

Looking forward to a trip up the A46 from Leicester for this one.

1-2 Ox 550 yellows in attendance

Agree with that lineup (although I would point out that it’s broadly the same as the 3-4-2-1 we’ve been adopting recently anyway, as I imagine Bodin would still drop in to give numbers to the midfield). I would absolutely love to see Harris in a front two though. I think alongside a big man to flick the ball on for him and attract central defenders he’d make absolute hay, early years Michael Owen vibes. Also suspect we’d see Stevens in at RWB rather than Mills, as it seems his best position and Mills seems wasted there.

I think bringing Negru back in would smack of desperation a bit. He’s obviously been dropped for some behind the scenes reason (I don’t buy that he’s been injured for the last month). I think Manning seems to much of a disciplinarian to drop a player for off-the-pitch reasons and then come crawling back to them when he needs a result.
