You are probably closest here, maybe Bodin to start instead of Goodrham but i would actually prefer it your way, need some young legs up front as we are not the quickest, the front three will probably need changing on 60 as it's going to be a tiring night with a lot of chasing shadows. Real shame Joseph isn't fit as that would of been the ideal game for him.

Can't see Fleming starting, hell of an ask for someone who doesn't know his team mates well to take up a role with defensive responsibilities this quickly against a team who are obviously a lot,lot better than we usually play.

Id go (if we can get some transfers done quick this afternoon)ā€¦

Couldn't get tickets for this one so will be watching in the Birdcage in Thame, if any other U's fans fancy joining

Iā€™m sure Arsenal will be aware of the possibilities of being knocked out after Wrexham and Wycombe won away. Speaking to an Arsenal fan I know at the weekend, he suspects that there be a good proportion of fringe players, but with the likes of Saka on the bench. Apparently they have three tough games coming up this month so wonā€™t want to risk too many first team players tonight.
I think we could win 2-1 if we go at them from the start like we have before. Itā€™ll be a real money spinner at Manchester City but Iā€™m sure Arsenal will fancy that one too

What one gooner is saying

We should beat Oxford regardless of who plays

Play the kids.

Hope they do play the kids and get their arses kicked and get knocked out of the FA cup.
What an arrogant t**t
Honestly, you're wound up about that? He's right, they should win regardless of who plays. Fortunately, that's not always how football works.

End of the day itā€™s the FA Cup , you never know ........
But please we need to put a shift in , against this Arsenal.

So what are the tactics KR employs tonight? Famous last words but I think he is quite good at this sort of game.

I'm guessing we'll flood the central areas and play quite narrow, keep them wide and see if we can make them resort to crossing the ball in aerially? Should be 50/50 with headers, but they'll be miles better with the ball on the floor.

As for us attacking, if they have any young full backs then I reckon Wildschut may be able to do something. He looked physically really strong in the Exeter game, could roll the full back any pull the ball back from the goal line? Play for set pieces? Shoot on sight for the likes of Brannagan etc.

I really hope we have a good sing song tonight and get a bit of an atmosphere going. Plenty of old school songs, I really hope we get the place rocking tonight. No excuses from the fans tonight, we can forget the miserable league form and just have a laugh.

Really looking forward to it!

I remember the days when they wouldn't let you in to the Birdcage if you were wearing anything to do with football... how times have changed.

(and it used to be the underage drinkers pub when I was 17 back in the late 80s)
