We get a money spinning game at Citeh, so the ideal result tonight would be a win! Seeing 11000 Oxford fans (peacefully and respectfully) celebrating on our pitch would be incredible!

inciting/ drumming up a bit of potential 'trade' @Scotchegg ? ;) ..... It is an offence to invade the playing area of a stadium under the groundregs in England and Wales

- I do share your hopes for a home win tonight, Up the Manor! :)

There’s more money in a replay at the Emirates than there is in a trip to the Etihad. Not just because it’s a bigger ground to begin with but because Arsenal would fill it whereas City really struggle even in the lesser Champions League matches, let alone domestic cups against lower league clubs. The tickets would also be way cheaper in Manchester. City played Burton in the League Cup semi-final 3/4 years back and only got 32,000 in.

There are more important things to think about in the meantime, such as how the hell is the chip shop going to cope.

And where will the burger van be with the outside broadcast trailers parking where it normally goes?!

Goodness.
A really big game that most people seem genuinely excited about.
Then this??
Think I said best result is a win! Which is obviously what I and everyone else on here wants. All I’m saying is that I don’t want us to be “plucky” losers.

If McGuane puts in the performance he's capable of, will he still be an Oxford player at the end of the month?

Going to watch it in my local south London pub Chelsea territory! Hopefully not too many arrogant gooners around unless we win obviously

I hope we have the spirit of our performance against Man City 2019 rather than the one from 2018 where we really were beyond outclassed. We did have Jon Obika up front in fairness that time.

Don't disgrace ourselves, give then a workout and hope for the best (a draw for a lucrative replay or a win - 18/1 best odds for us for that!). This is going to be highlight of this season so we may as well enjoy it since we have b****r all else to play for.
