You’d think KR shagged Marks Mrs, the way @Carpy17 talks about himThis place is way more aggressive than usual this window. Crazy.
Im not sure I’d actually want Woodburn back, ya know. Looked poo against us and as he’s been sent home by Blackpool, that doesn’t bode too well. Would cost a pretty penny too, I’d imagine..Masterson
Woodburn
Holland
3 signings like that with views to make it permanent would sit well with any fan & would represent long term gain for OUFC like Dickie, Ledson, Lundstram, Roofe etc
No to Woodburn from me, not good enough imoMasterson

Yes; you tend to believe what he says. So the fact that he’s saying nothing probably suggests there is nothing imminent. You know who I miss?

Oh God. Money defo available, looking at quality, came so close. Ultimate thing, we didnt. We've no idea how much some of these early deals cost, and the work that goes into getting a "fair" deal. We'd all love to see people coming in early, and I'm sure the club was working to make this happen. But if holding out a little longer means that we get the right players on the right contracts then surely that's a good thing?
What we should take comfort from is the fact that we were looking at bringing Cadden in, on a deal which would have cost £200k compo to Motherwell plus a fee to CC, and we were also looking at bringing Gavin Whyte back with a decent contribution towards his wages. Money is clearly available and if that now allows us to spend more on a quality CB and winger, and invest in a couple of youth prospects too, then this could be another very good window.
I wouldn’t bother with Woodburn but yes to HollandMasterson

When you read your post you think not just with Pxford but all the other L1/2 clubs having to let players go because of the 20 man over 21 squad and all those players who won’t have clubs as a result in bad the new rules.Just thinking ahead to next season where the squad size reduces to 20 (aged over 21 as of 1st January 2021 I assume)
Under contract for 21/22 and beyond:
1. Long
2. Atkinson
3. Moore
4. Hanson
5. Clare
6. Brannagan
7. Cooper
8. Agyei
9. Taylor
10. Winnall
11. Osei-Yaw
12. Gorrin (Assuming club option triggered)
13. Henry (Assuming club option triggered)
14. Obita (Assuming club option triggered)
15. Stevens (Bound to be offered a new deal?)
16. Ruffels (Bound to be offered a new deal?)
This assumes:
- Eastwood, Hall, Forde, Sykes, Napa who would all count towards the squad size are let go at end of their contracts in the summer.
- Mousinho retires from playing.
- Kelly, McGuane and Shodipo do not get signed permanently or on renewed loans. (McGuane would count towards squad size next season)
Still classed as U21s next season:
- Asonganyi
- Chambers-Parillon
- Elechi
- Jones
- Lofthouse
- Lopes
- Sole
- Spasov
- Stevens (the outfield one)
If all 5 of the assumed do stay, then we'd have 4 squad places available prior to anyone leaving - Clare/Cooper/Osei would perhaps head that queue given current circumstances - and prior to any new permanent signings coming in this window, you would expect a permanent deal would be for at least 18 months rather than to the end of this season?
