Fans Forum on Good Friday

Good news that one is being held, even if the timing is less than ideal. I hope Tiger has prepared a bit more for this one. Plus I hope we find out a lot more about how the club is going to be financed now and in the future, and just what are the plans to bring long term success to the club.

After the initial car crash of a take over there are some positive signs in the last couple of weeks. We must however remain skeptical and questioning until the big questions like the finance have been adequately answered. Everything good so far could come crashing down if it is not backed by money in a way that does not bankrupt the club.

Its far too early to claim the new owner is good for the club until we get the big picture and a lot more answers (and Dave T that for me would apply to any owner).

Agree totally mate, I’ve never said he’s good for the club, nor have I said we don’t need to find out the answers to those questions. My point as always is adding a bit of balance to the overly critical and negative comments, that are very one sided.

As always I can only judge an owner on what he does, so far his actions are speaking louder than words for me. Even with the tax bill and the initial press conference. Both were put right almost immediately by paying it the next day (it could just be as the club said and not a major conspiracy) and better interviews face to face after the conference. The rest is at best speculation and the people putting it out there don’t even have the balls to back it up with evidence or who the source was that can make it credible.

bowl of Thai green curry and a can of Carabao for everyone that turns up. He's been told by Slippery that the fans will love it, nearly as much as his hot dog and a pint gimmick.

if he, Tiger, wants to ingratiate himself best he avoids handing out Carabao and instead some of this ....

A better option than the overpriced swill served up at the Breeze Block IMO

Think a lot of people will be put off by the timing. 1015 am finish, then linger around until kick off.
Exactly my point!!!!

Public transport is reduced to that of Sunday service on a bank holiday, so many interested fans will NOT be able to make the start time

And if our chairman is relying on public transport, whats the betting the forum start is delayed????

Yet again the supporters are being given scraps, that may be good enough for Dave T, but for some of us we have no chance of getting to the ground for that time and then to spend time waiting around for the game to start. As Sarge states fans forums should be held on non match days with at least 4 weeks notice.

I hope there is some structure to this and it's organised properly.

Be good to get a clear understanding of the plans going forward.

Imagine if there was 4 weeks notice haha, the s**t Tiger would have got for taking so long. If it's at a time suitable for you, it'll be a time unsuitable for somebody else.
I think that early would be unsuitable for most, unless you drive of course.

Take your point, let’s make that 48hrs, that would give supporters plenty of time to organise their travel plans.:)

stupid o - clock start time on the morning a public holiday is not the best start time for most I'd guess
....even more stupid is having it on a match day, many many hours before scheduled (television) kick off time

Its reminiscent of the stadium owners tenure as chairman of oufc, when shareholders agms were held at ridiculous times!

This is the best you have? Very good manager appointment, cant moan, better communication already, can't moan, four match pack, can't moan. Fans forum, can't moan - I know lets moan about the time instead. Heaven forbid that they might hold it on a match day; a day when they will be 1000's of fans actually going to the match. Silly, silly idea!! You can't make it up!

Oi! Now I like me a glass of Tiger as much as the next man (see attached from a event trip to Singapore), but they do actually serve a decent local brew from the Shotover brewery which is neither overpriced nor swill!
