I think you need to consult the rules of football mate.
Well must have changed, thought they changed the rules a couple of seasons ago a yellow for giving a penalty away and a straight red if it was from a clear goal scoring opportunity

Ok but o did think if you gave away a penalty it was a booking if it wasn’t goal scoring opportunity then a red card.
It doesn't have to be. Moore screaming in his face seems to have changed the ref's focus somewhat. Given the "final warning" issued 50 minutes earlier (!) the "right" decision would be to book Long and Moore. Doubt Long would have committed the foul afterwards then.

Anyway, water under the bridge now...fantastic win

Bottom team up next, who'll have a new manager. I hate it when we play teams with a new manager, they invariably put more effort in.
Hopefully they won’t have a manager in place. Players seem to up their game for a new gaffer.

Do youngsters look to league one football refs as the ideal body shape? Can’t imagine anyone going I want to look like Trevor Kettle rather than Anthony Joshua.
Funny guy.
Any youngster aspiring to be a professional sportsperson / referee need role models who lead by example. He’s saying it’s ok to be unhealthily overweight and run around for a living. He’d need to be an exceptional referee for the EFL to forgive his condition, he’s not.

McGuane had a terrific game , gliding through the middle of the pitch - outstanding mastery of the football.

A word for Robinson - tactically done Ryan Lowe totonight.
Agree with both points.
McGuane looks class.
KR got it tactically spot on. Also well done KR and the coaching team. Sam Long is looking far more confident and better going forwards.

Pretty sure it's never been that. Giving a penalty away has never meant a card has to also be given.

A red is given if a foul denies an 'obvious goal scoring opportunity' (no last man thing).

He didn’t exactly run around did he? Stroll maybe.

I think you might be taking it a bit to seriously, I doubt the ref of Plymouth v Oxford will have much affect on the youth of this country.
