Great away trip was that. Also remember there was a fair bit of trouble after the game.

On this day eight years ago, United went into a crucial home match with Accrington joint bottom of the football league after a disastrous start to 2014-15
under Michael Appleton. Only 4,111 witnessed United’s first win of the season. Hylton, Collins and Barnett with the goals in a 3-1 win.

U’s: George Long - Joe Riley Johnny Mullins Jake Wright Tom Newey - Brian Howard Michael Collins Josh Ruffels - Callum O’Dowda
Tyrone Barnett Danny Hylton. Subs: Alex Jakubiak Carlton Morris and Junior Brown.

That's a decent side. Do not remember much abour George Long or Brian Howard but the rest were solid at worst, and a strike force of Hylton, Barnett, and O'Dowda would get goals.
