Have you considered getting a hobby to occupy yourself? You seem to spend all day on here posting nothing but misery and it's clear that you're not enjoying football these days.

There are some community litter picking groups which might bring you more joy.

Don`t be dissing us Wombles.............. 14,767 bags of crud removed from the `Shire last month alone.

The Blackpool Gazette has worked out the 7 key games for them to reach the play-offs and are the key ones for us as well as our own games.

Blackpool - Cambridge. Blackpool need a win, probably not too important for us.
Oxford - Peterborough. Blackpool will be hoping we drop points.
Stevenage - Barnsley. Both us and Blackpool want a Barnsley win.
Oxford - Lincoln. Probable play-off decider. Blackpool hoping for a draw.
Oxford - Stevenage. Blackpool hoping for a draw.
Cheltenham - Lincoln. Can Cheltenham do us and Blackpool a favour?

It does but is he L1 quality? 2.5 years he’s been here and never nailed down a place. Had a failed loan spell in the conference too.

Ebou Adams at Derby is the ideal, not that we’d get him now. I wouldn’t be surprised if we looked for a Herbie Kane type that principally can play but can still be disciplined and put a tackle in.
I believe he is L1 quality. He did enough in his shoehorned RCB role to suggest this - decent passing, got stuck in, consistent forward momentum - and then got pulled out and forgotten. He deserves more of a chance in CM, in my opinion.

On other players, I think we should have looked at Tunnicliffe a couple of years back, but that ship has sailed.
We should go all out to try and get Ledson back in the summer.

What are everyone's thoughts on the games against Peterborough, Lincoln and Stevenage, and how the squad might be managed that week?

Might we see some changes for the Peterborough game, given that the results against Lincoln and Stevenage are likely to have the greater impact on where we finish at the end of the season?

Or do we just field our strongest side in every game, and hope that adrenaline and the prospect of a play-off place is enough to overcome any potential heavy legs?

Beat Burton first. If we don't win there then it's likely that our season will be as good as over.

That's true, but worry about the next game before we start thinking of shuffling the squad etc.

Yeah agreed. I’m okay with Brannagan on his own in there v Burton. Go at them from early on.

Would like to see McGuane reintroduced to the midfield for the 3 games after though as we are wide open.

Why?

We might draw there and move in to the top 6.

Reading away isn’t no gimme for Lincoln!

I still think we would need the points from Burton, we are unlikely to follow it up with enough wins to make up for dropping points against a Burton team who have only taken 2 points from their last 9 games.

I reckon ten points will be enough to get into the play offs, if we get 3 of those points come against Lincoln and we manage to avoid defeat to Stevenage, can't see us losing to a very poor Burton team then managing 3 wins and a draw in much tougher fixtures straight after.

You’re a messy lot in Oxfordshire…😉

Wrong `shire but its Country wide and really boils my urine.

Talking of which - why do HGV drivers pee in a plastic bottle and lob it in the hedge?

Just pee and let nature do its stuff! You`ve got a chuffing great wagon to stand behind!!

**Sorry mods......... vent needed!

Think it’s often to do with their targets not allowing any stops

I dont think Saturday is a must win game .
It's just don't lose it .Lincoln will drop points at the weekend .
The pitch will play a big part at Burton as its a sandpit .
Another 3 wins from 5 and we will be somewhere close .

Shall we just take one step at a time, if we beat Burton, if Lincoln drop points, if my granny had balls she would be my uncle

A Reading friend is quite upbeat for the game against Lincoln , he fancys Reading chances.

Everyone keeps saying this but let’s say we beat Burton by a big score, then I’d be very uncomfortable with changing a system in which the players have got used to and we’ve just (for example) won two games in a row in, scoring 7-8 and conceding zero.

Formations aren’t the only thing which make sides defensive or attacking and the two midfielders ahead of Brannagan can always drop back a bit to help out. Plus we won’t be playing Barcelona, why not go out and attack sides, they’re still at our level and are very beatable. I’d rather see Des go attacking in those games, keep doing what we’re doing and draw 3-3 or 4-4 than change our formation and see another disjoined 0-1 defeat or 0-0 draw…
