There are rules with the FA over ownership, was told on another thread
he would be restricted to 10% unless he sells most of, or all of his inter shares.
why he would do this is beyond me they are hardly unsuccessful.
But he may want more of a challenge which he will definitely get here.
The 10% rule only applies to clubs in the same country.
Some examples of international ownership:
- Watford/Udinese have (or had) the same owners.
- Man City owners own or have major stakes in Girona, Melbourne City, New York City (and others probably) as well as Man City.
- Red Bull own what was Austria Salzburg and Red Bull Leipzig and they played each in the Ropey League last week.
